I love this song and movie!! I've watched it so many times growing up... I want to watch this movie again so bad!!! Now, where did I put that VHS Tape...
Best Disney movie ever made! I really enjoyed introducing a kid I thought was going to be my stepson to it and he loved it. Good kid. Wish I could still be involved in his life.
The singer here sounds like your Dad’s southern Uncle on who’s ranch you’d while away your childhood summers. Catching crawdads in the creek in the back of the field, learning which barn kittens liked to be held but not letting that keep you away from the others. Sitting down under a big chestnut tree and then suddenly waking up to a sunset.
Sounds like we were walking along the old autumn trail looking for twigs and sticks to make the fire crackle and we found that one stick that was too good to burn; our new walking stick that would lead us into forest adventures
I'm not sure we'll ever get kid movies again that center around such a simple, clean and fun musical talent, just compare this with what they make today which has absolutely no soul.
It's crazy how well you remember the first movies you watched as a kid. It's like a million details were buried in your mind and watching it again 30 years later pulls them all out, all at once. Feels inexplicably satisfying and nostalgic at the same time.
One of my all time favorite movies loved it as a kid watched it with my kids and now watch it with my grandchildren hope to watch with great grandchildren
I played this song to annoy my stepdad and now he said hes going to suffocate me in my sleep (as a joke) and now im not going to sleep but this is a good song tho🤘👊

This is audiovisually, I think, the warmest style a Disney film has had. The colours are delightfully soft and warm, the music is pure sugar. The villain is just a silly boy with mommy issues, the main character is extremely likeable and warm. They even cut out their (much) darker ending because it didn't fit the style of the film. I love this.

You sing this 3 times in your head?
I do this as well. But I just sing, *_"Robin Hood & Little John walking through the forest, laughing back and forth at what the other has to say"_*
How about a RIP for the great Roger Miller, who wrote and performed this?

Thank you Roger Miller for making my childhood a wonderful childhood with this amazing song.
Indeed.
RIP Sir. A great memory from my childhood.
Best version of Robin Hood ever
Only just bettered by Errol Flynn, in my opinion.
This and Men n tights 👌
Well, the Ridley Scott version was not that bad. 😃

Why not?
Nothing like telling a British folk story through the style of American folk music

Anyone who compares this to zootopia never saw this in the first place
The only similarity besides the fact animals are talking is that the character's design from Zootopia was based on Robin Hood.
Both have loads of furry porn.
as if communist icon robin hood has any similarity to a tax evader
And that's the best thing
Damn skippy.
Yeah, this song just touches my heart.
I literally looked this up just because American Idol posted that Laine was gonna sing this on Sunday...
omg same lmao
Meh too
Laine sang it so good !
Oh I see. 😂😂😂😂
I literally just heard his performance, loved it soooo much and now here i am.
One of the greatest songs in Disney history

This song bring tears back to my eyes.. ..I love this movie so much.
I cried too. Brought back heartfelt childhood memories.
Loved that movie growing up
I rewatch it.
When my now husband and I first met, we learned that we both knew this song by heart and sang it together.

AM I the only person who wants a sequel to this Robin Hood with John Goodman as Little John?
Ben Daly McKenna I want it now more then anything
YES I would love to see an updated version of this.
John already successfully stepped in Phil' shoes :)
Considering how much Disney Sequels suck that would be a bad idea.
No. I think that would be a FANTASTIC idea.
This song legit makes me happy. I love this movie so much.
Totally knew this song & film waaaayyyy before that commercial! :D
It was one of my favorites to! I used watch movies like this one, Jungle Book & Hercules on video cassette all the time when I was little
If only Disney would release its choke-hold on everything it owns and let it be viewable on youtube
Well, the full movie is available for streaming on Netflix, so I think that's close enough.
What it this Netflix?
