- Today we are turning out an animal for the first time! We also catch up with Ransom about everything on the farm. Unfortunately the heatwave got the best of us and caused our iphone to lock up from the heat, messing up our live..
I had a pancreatitis attack a month ago. No one told me that after having your gullbladder removed that you can have other digestion issues later. I have trasticly changed my diet and I'll tell you I don't miss any of the things I gave up and I gave up a lot! No fried food, no spicy food, no butter or margarine, no corn, no peas, no white bread or pasta, no soda, no lemonade. Many of my favorite casseroles are now a big no, no! But having a healthy pancreas is worth it. We're having our first greatgrandchild born next week and we are so excited!
Man I had a gallbladder attack when I was 10 years old and my mom didn't believe me that I was so much in pain from it so every time it comes and goes I had broken out of a high fever and ended up visiting another doctor and they ran a test on me it showed up gallbladder had rapture tiny gallstone look like pea size gravel they had never ever seen a young child had gallstone they sent me to the hospital for emergency surgery
I lost in 18 months 42 lbs just by eating fresh veggies from the garden. No starches of any kind and olive oil. God is good! Garden is now three times bigger.
Congratulations 💙💖 on your first Great Grandchild 🙏. They are all such a blessing ✝️
Love 🌻 from Apex NC 💜

Ps my cousin lives in Missouri with her homestead
I love sun tea. Luzianne is the best. In my early 30’s, living in Tennessee, I was addicted to sweet tea. Now I cannot stand the sugar. When you get used to plain tea, you cannot go back to sweet.
I love sweetened tea but no sugar I use Equal sweetener no sugar no honey.
My favorite tea is Y'ALL SWEET TEA haven't tried it sun tea just brewed.
I keep it at 74 daytime summer. 64 winter. Trying to save electricity... everything unpluged that is not needed... connections on the new turkey's being released. Love you all so much! Continued prayers! God bless
HERE THERMOMETOR SET AT 76 FULL TIME IN SUMMER, WINTER 68 AT 72 I CAN NOT TAKE THAT COLD.
I saw a movement when you showed the best. Yep, there's birds in that that nest 😊. I saw at least one head moving 🐦❤
God blessyoufromPortHuronMichigan❤.
Hip tendon repair went well thanks for the prayers 🙏❤️😊
Brilliant! thanks for reporting back - I always wonder when ppl ask for prayers, then hear no more - probably more to do with me not reading every comment! - just don't be going dancing yet nor carrying anything ;)
I am in Central Florida and i keep the air on 80 with a fan on low. The electric costs here are out of control. I do not even have a clothes dryer. I have a huge screened in porch i dry clothes on.
Count yourselves very blessed to be able to keep the air that low. Wow!
Oh well i cant complain. I have my health, a garden, two dogs that keep me safe in the sad city. I also have my 87 year old wonderful father here. He is the best!!! God blessed me with a great dad!!! Amen! I see my dad's qualities in you Gary.
My dad worked different shifts to be able to spend as much time with me ss possible growing up!
When our good Lord takes him home i will leave this over grown dump of a city and go back to the Carolins.
God is good!!
I'm a sweet tea drinker. I gave up sodas, went to sweet tea. Now I am drinking 1/2 and 1/2 sweet and unsweetened Tea.
Me to I don't like real sweet tea I mix 1/2 and 1/2 to
Yes, at least three birds in the nest. Cassie you look beautiful, I love the dress.
Glad Mazzie is still practicing violin.
She’s an amazing young lady.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Bella. She's a cutie. Changing lifestyle is tough because it is something different. You are doing great, keep up the wonderful job👍 Having a bird nest with baby birds on your property is great because I believe when they choose your home to be their home is a blessing.
I did the W-30, I discovered that I have an allergy to legumes (beans and peanuts). Mind you, I grew up eating pinto beans since birth. Changing my eating habit really made me feel like I had more energy. Keep it up Cassy...
I haven't seen a grasshopper in who knows how many years, many! 🦗 That was one cute bugger.
They love our garden 😒
Good job, Ransom.
It’s tough being your age with scary things.
Learn the signs and animal gives when they have different emotions.
That way it won’t be so scary.
My daughter keeps the thermostat on 70 during the summertime. We have a two-story house and the upstairs does not get as cool as downstairs does it’s freezing downstairs. Love you guys so very much.
They have large glass jars with spigots so you can easy pour from inside the refrigerator.
Make the sun tea in and put jar in refrigerator and pour from spigot into glass with lots of ice.
Great live. Your dress is so pretty Cassie!!! Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday! May God continue to bless all of your family!!!
A bunch of birds.
Your dress is cute Cassie.
Thanks Walkers for all you guys do!!! 🌻💛🌻
Laying off the Coke Zero will help you with sleeping. I was drinking 3 or 4 Diet Dr. Pepper's a day for years. I've had colon cancer and now stage 4 metastatic liver cancer. The caffeine and the steroids in the chemo was keeping me up for days at a time. So I went to Sprite Zero for a while, then to just water besides my morning coffee. Besides the coffee, I've only had water with MiO flavorings for the last couple of months. Besides the 3 or 4 days after chemo, I am sleeping much better.
I just believe in reading labels. You find there’s not much you can buy in a gas station. Remember, when they reduce sugar, they replace with worse. One huge problem in our country is high fructose corn syrup in everything. Also, soy that is damaging to hormones.
When my AC goes on I start making sweet decaf tea. I sweeten with stevia prior to drinking.
Cracks me up that the chairs, water bottle labels, Cassie's watch and even your T-shirt's logo all matches and yes, love the black on you two. You both looks great today! Even your teeth popped! 😂❤
Well thank you 😊
I love iced tea with stevia.
Hey Gary and Cassie, I hope you’re all doing well and I hope the kids are enjoying their time off from school and I hope you’re all having a wonderful summer so far and I hope the weather is being good and you’re not getting any more tornadoes or hurricanes, my prayers and my thoughts go out to all of you I just wanted to let you know things are going good here for me even though I do suffer from bipolar disease, PTSD, anxiety and depression and I also have dyslexia but I’m 59 years old now and I’m it’s not easy. I feel like I’m 95 sometimes, so Cassie prayers go out to you as you’re starting to get older but you’re still amazing mom and you’re doing wonderful and great things with your kids so enjoy that time. Also do what you can do now before it gets too late because like I said, I’m 59 years old and I’ve been driving for a LYFT now for almost 8 years and I love it and I do it here in OSWEGO and I also do it at the Syracuse Hancock airport. Sometimes last night was a really bad scary night because we had severe thunderstorms was heavy rain hell and lightning and on my way home from Cornell University I came through rainstorm and I was scared for my life and I literally saw a transformer get hit with lightning and it exploded and then as I was driving down 481 coming back to OSWEGO it was raining so hard that I had to literally pull over because I could not see but I did make it home safe. I got home a little after 2 AM in the morning and then today I had a wonderful day. I got two loads of laundry done. I went to church this morning, but tomorrow I have to go see my doctor have some blood work done to see how I’m doing where I’m at and October 5 when I lost stormy I ended up going into a deep depression and almost dying, but I’m doing well. I’ve lost a lot of weight. I went from 334 pounds down to 275 and My A1 went from 8.9 down to 6.1 and my blood pressure is back to normal and I’m doing really well but I may have to go in for surgery soon because I have a herniated disc and my L5 and L4 are totally out of alignment and pinching on my nerve so please keep me in your prayers. Your thoughts and always know that somebody here in Oswego is praying for all of you. Love you all and your videos from one of your friends here in OSWEGO, New York from Denise-6-23-2024-✝️🙏✝️🙏✝️🙏✝️🙏✝️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✝️🙏
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Praying 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I can’t stand tea or coffee with sugar! 🤢 even as a kid I couldn’t drink sweet tea. I may from time to time put some honey in my hot tea during the winter, but rarely.
Yay, the 90° temps are gone for a couple days!! I think it’s about 80 today, and around 82° tomorrow. Then we get a rollercoaster weather for about a week here in Northern Indiana. Love Bella, she’s a pretty dog!
I can't stand regular pop, because it is too sweet!
Swallows! Cute baby birds... Northern Nevada, winter thermostat at 59, summer is swamp cooler we turn it on when we are hot and off when we are cold lol...
Unsweetened tea is the only way to go!😊
Bella may have a sensitive esophagus- and a collar pull can cause an issue for her
She probably should wear a harness ❤
I come from a family if 14 and my parents always told us to take only a little bit of food and if you want more , then get a little more. I still go by that and told my children the same . It sure worked .
As for cleaning up after the kids, I'd put less on their plate. They can always ask for more once their plate is cleaned. I used to make sun tea. I loved it. Don't have enough sun to make it now. Tell Mazzie if she is in a situation where there isn't sweet tea, to ask for a cup of hot water. Mix sugar in the hot water to dissolve it and add it to her tea. Oh I'd love to be able to keep my temp at 72 ac and 68 heat but my brother would freeze lol! Great video guys! God Bless and Love ya! ❤❤
We loved visiting the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco Texas. After the tour of the museum they have a shop that sells Dr Pepper floats. Amazing!!
Sounds like there are, see movement, swallows are aggressive about their babies 1:46
I keep my house at 71 in the summer, the Central TX heat is no joke.
Im with you there. Also in Central Tx
Nice informational vlog - thanks for posting 😊 Love your dress Cassie - looks great on you ❤ Try to stay cool and well hydrated - that high heat and humidity can be a killer 😎🌞🙏
I keep mine on 78 and have fans on in the rooms I'm in. I can't handle cold temps. I'm on fixed income and have to really watch my utilities.
Cassie you'll cool down by 20% when you get out of your black dress. Love you guys!!
I will share with you that three nurses at different times when my mother was in hospice dying of colon cancer, tell me to please stop all the artificial sugar. They said real sugar is not made with chemicals. I got to admit I seen a change in my body when I did. Like anything I don’t over do drinks with sugar. I do drink little cans of pop, which I keep around the house just so if I crave for a pop, I drink sweet tea in a bottle called “Gold Peak Tea, with real sugar”. I put a few bottles in the fridge and pour some in a cup, I don’t drink a whole bottle in one setting. It’s very good tea. 🧋 I also drink grape 🍇 propel, keep a few in the fridge to pour into a cup, then good ole cold water 💦.
Bella is really growing, she really reminds me of our Border Collie Sadie, who was smart as well. Sadie was such a good dog.
Please also keep my husband Patrick in your prayers. 🙏🏻 The time off from cemo has helped him a lot. The next appointment they will decide where his cemo treatment goes through his blood work.
Thank you ✝️
Gary and Cassie♡♡,
You do keep the lives exciting 😅! Continued prayers for the school teacher, Stacey 🙏🏾🙏🏾and the Walker family 💜❤️.
My thermostat is set at 55 degrees and only switch it from cool to heat and back. I pay a little more in the summer but with gas heat I make up for that in the winter. There are plenty of throw blankets for guests lol.
From hot south Florida. We keep our air at 73° night and 77° day time. Just turn it off if we have cooler weather. Never need heat.
I’ve made sun tea for years!! Yes, living in the south, everybody made sweet tea and restaurants always had sweet tea as well. I still love sun tea, but I also love it unsweetened.
Cracker Barrel is great homestyle cooking!! I loved to go there when traveling!!
I love sun tea. Have drank it since I was little and I am 68 yrs old.
I like seeing you a dress every now and then Cassie... we are in winter here, but our winters are very mild and only last about 4 weeks and then it starts to get hot again... I don't like the cold at all... Good luck with your Bourbon Reds, they are very pretty... Cheers for sharing and God Bless...
Sun tea tasted the same to me as tea from boiling water. Probably taken off the heat faster than tea brewed in the glass jar outside in the sun. The longer it brews the stronger it gets.
I have my thermostat off along with the furnace until about November, then set it at 68F, No AC in my house.
Caught the live at the last three minutes!!
Just watched the replay. I would have jumped and squeeled if that biggo buggo and jumped on/ at me and I'm A tough old lady! Being startled like that can save your life.... Or keeping grasshoppers from tangling in your hair😉
😉👍🙏👍🙏👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💕❤💕❤💕❤💕❤🙏🙏💕❤
I looked up sweet tea; it is sweetened with sugar, but it is added to the tea while it is still hot 🥵. Different sugars are used with different types of teas.
Hi Walkers, Ranger no longer goes to little birthday parties he is almost a teenager. I know hard to believe. ❤❤❤❤ I use to only drink sun tea. 73 all day and night.
Cracker Barrel is not fast food it’s a sit down restaurant with old fashioned foods.
Probably meant chain restaurants. I heard them say on a trip they like finding local places.
Their chicken fried stake with cut fries is great!
I am from the south and I love unsweet tea. It has always been that way because I was raised on sweet tea, but being a diabetic, I had to change my habits and now I love tea it all depends on what you are used to
72 thermostat in summer all day in eastern Virginia and 67ish in Winter all day. I would rather see my breath in winter than be too hot in house. But I am at an age where I am trapped in a rain forest at all times.
Thank you for sharing everything.God bless you and your family.
I'm hot... Thermostat @ 81 degrees during summer & 68 degrees during winter...down here in Louisiana. It's what I can afford during the current administration 🙄
Lived in Florida for 30 years temp was set at 78 during the day and 74 at night…. Moved to Tennessee and it is set at 76 24/7
My mom sliced lemon oranges and limes in her sun tea delicious.
We use stevia to sweeten the tea. It's all natural.
We live near Austin, Texas. In the summer thermostat is at 77°, and in the winter it is at 70°.
Love your two channels, and God bless you with a great big blessing.
The look on Bella's face was priceless!
🤣
I use stevia in my tea.
Watched replay. Yes to unsweet Sun Tea and unsweet iced black coffee. Constant 72° AC. Love the Bourbon Reds! ❤😊
Hahaha, that scream made me throw my phone, Cassie lol! That was too funny. As for my thermostat, I keep it at 68 year round, and I'm here in SC. We love our sweet tea brewed or sun brewed. When i 1st moved to Maine when I 1st got married to my ex-husband, I got a rude awakening quick when I asked for tea, lol. Back then, even their McDonald's didn't even have it. I did find a sweet lil grocery store that would order whatever I asked for, like pickled okra, grits, boiled peanuts in the cans, and even Dukes mayonnaise. Such great service!!
you and your family have a blessed day
Well shoot I tried to make your live. That didn’t work out very well. I love your dress, Cassie! I love tea anyway you wanna make it works for me. I take mine unsweetened. I’ve heard of sun tea too. My Aunt and Mama made tea with sacarin and a bit of sugar. Ask for hot tea, then add sugar. Let it cool and pour over ice. I can’t have sweeteners. They mess with my stomach. I have a very hard time with diets and that sort of thing. I bet you can drink Hint. It’s just water best price I’ve found is thru Amazon. I’ve never priced them at Wally World tho. Thank you for the video.
Have you ever put craisins in your water during the day. It curbs munchies, sweet cravings. Some drink water with Oj in it.
When I'm hot (and probably dehydrated) I like to put a couple of teaspoons of OJ in the bottom of a chimney glass (tall but narrow diameter), fill with ice, then add basically room temperature water. I like to drink with a straw about halfvway down the glass so,thst just a kiss of the orange juice comes up the glass. Of course with all the ice, you dont get much for water so ill often refill with water 1 to 3 times before its time to add a kiss more oj.
I'm extremely frugal and live in the Deep South. In the summer, my thermostat is set at 81- 83. If the house is cooler than the outside, I'm good. In the winter, I turn the thermostat as far down as it will go, which is 55, and I bundle up. I've gradually adapted over time to heat and cold. Plus, it saves me money.
We keep our thermostat on 69 degrees year round it's been in the 90s here in West Virginia for the past seven days but the humidity has been real high here
Most entertaining thanks folks. Chris from England
Hey, you two match and with the chairs! Love it! 👏👏👏🤗
Have a great week.👍👍😊😊💕💕💕💕
I'm from Florida and I drink unsweet tea. Most of my family however drink it sweet I guess I'm not normal LOL
68 degrees , cause bedrooms are upstairs always warmer then down ,and thermostat is downstairs. Texas heat the worst❤🤗🙏from🇨🇱
I live in Mesa, AZ 110-115 days now for about 2 1/2 months. I keep my ac at 83 and winter 62. Have to save when on a limited income. I'm 75 and loving life.
Hello Gary and Cassie. I missed your live but I'm watching It now and I switched to zero sugar SNAPPEL( KIWI STRAWBERRY FAVOR... it's so delicious 😋
Please pray in our small community a family was four dead . 2young children mother father . Most figure father had problems . Children 6 and 8 . Please pray. 🙏
Praying for your community and all of the family who are trying to process this horrible horrible loss.
Prayers
Joining all in prayer 🙏

Strawberry DrPepper with tequila rose 🌹 is the balm! Add the Dr. pepper first and then the tequila rose. It will curdle if you do it in reverse but it is amazing! 👍🏼♥️🎉
Dr Pepper is way to sweet
And I'm so glad you're here Ransom! You make the whole video.
You can make sun tea and sweeten with stevia! It's yummy! I didn't make it until I moved to Texas from Wisconsin!
I was going to say, use a high-grade Stevia. It’s much more expensive but it has no additives. The cheaper stuff you find on the store shelf has got artificial flavours quite often added to it. Low carb ice cream is made with artificial sweetener added a really really bad type of artificial sweetener.
when Cassie screamed i jumped lol
Glad to see you this afternoon❤🎉😊
The bubbly water pineapple is good.
When I lived in Indiana, our friends thought I was very weird because I drink unsweetened tea... Always had to make 2 pitchers, one for me, one for everyone else. I have to do the same here in Virginia. lol
❤ Shannon ❤
Hi Gary and Cassie and Ransom. I keep my temps the same as you all, I'm in North East Indiana. Blessings
I am from Ohio a long time ago, and we made Sun tea. Have not made any for years, Always like it. Sweet tea was not a thing. We could make it sweet by adding sugar. When I moved south that is when I found out about sweet tea.
Hi Gary and Cassie, I don't like mice either Cassie LOL I keep my thermostat set at 75 year round with ceiling fans when I need them. Love you guys God bless and until next time take care now
Those cute little Barn Swallow babies. My friend has some in the nest directly above thier door. At least yours is over to the side. 😉❤
Mini split (half the house) when we need it at 72 and forced hot water oil heat in winter at 66/67 and bedroom 64/65, that's in MA and the other day the feel like outside was 105 and this is not our norm!!
I love sun tea with lemon over ice.
If you get near a mockingbird nest, the mama will flat out attack you! They are so protective of their babies!😮😮😮
For iced tea I add a couple mint leaves instead of sugar. Also it keeps the tea from getting that tinny taste if left in the fridge overnight.
In the summer air is on 70⁰ and in the winter 68⁰ to 70⁰ depends how cold just outside Chicago. It gets cold. I have newer windows purchased in the last 8 yrs
Cassie, I have the same dress in green. And I also wear it to church. God bless.
Sun tea is good, haven’t made it in years. La Croix is awesome, really like the lime and grapefruit ones. I keep the thermostat at 73°. Still walking my dogs in the early morning before the heat. Heat makes my pain worse. I have a nest in the porch eaves also, a little wren. Kept blowing out the starts until I saw an egg break. It was as big as the tip of my little finger. Always great catching up with you guys, stay cool. Love and prayers 🙏🏼💜
😇
We keep our thermostat on 72° or 73° and sleep on 71°
Bella is such a beautiful dog. I think she’ll be a great family dog.
You both looked so nice today. Cassie I like your dress. Perrier sparkling water helped me stop drinking soft drinks. It tastes like a mild beer to me. I have tried the canned sparkling waters but I just don’t like drinking from a can. Maybe in a glass over I’ve? I also drink unsweet tea with lots of lemon. A lot of times you just have to try to acquire a taste for new things. The one thing I have tried over and over again to develop a taste fur but can’t are avocados! I wish I could because they are so nutritious. God bless you 😊❤
I use monk fruit as a sweetener.
I had a nest of Robin's on my downspout. Babies all left a few weeks ago. Last night one of the babies came back to the nest and spent the night. Apparently the world is a lot to deal with, and that baby just needed to go home. Who hasn't felt that way at one time or another.
I use an icepack for my phone to rest on when it gets too warm.😊 Im in Mn- my thermostat stays at 65degrees- which shuts off in summer.(apt) A/C + dehumidifier+ small fan in summer.
Such a beautiful family
Cassie I love your new turkeys. They are beautiful. ❤
Most restaurants in Canada do not serve iced tea, and it is usually found in the pop section of a grocery store in bottle form. In the 80s and 90s powdered pre mixed iced tea was very popular. It was like 90% sugar or higher. it’s still around but I think my teeth would ache forever if I try to drink it now
I'm a big tea drinker! There are certain brands and blends I like better than others. My current favorite is Tazo organic green ginger. I brew 4 tea bags in a gallon of water and chill it. So refreshing. No sweetener needed. Best wishes from northern Illinois.
This humidity is off the charts
