YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I still can't believe Fantano called this "meh"
its alot more mainstream and fantano dont like that
His tastes definitely differ from mine 😂
cause he is Ye's friend
wtf he did? what a clown
melon man is DELULU
I love when Bob pegs us ! ❤
Banger comment
@@connorgrenier3301Literally🗿
this is a sign to hear The Powers That B
Definitely my favorite from them
Yep my favourite death grips! I think bob would be insterested of the sound. LISTEN TO IT BOB, IT'S BEEN YEARS SINCE THE LAST DEATH GRIPS REACTION.
Jenny Death would 100% be up his alley, possibly that and the Death Grips EP that includes Full Moon and the alrernate versions to Exmilitary
Indeed
absolutely
bob said run that shit back lmaoo
As a peggy glazer, this once again slaps hard
listen to Paris Texas, theyre not metal, but heavily punk influenced. they are on the ‘alternative’ side of hip hop with influences stemming from Pierce the Veil to Kendrick and Eminem. peggy is in one of their videos - PANIC!!! and have been around Kanye and Tyler has reposted their music several times as well. highly recommend their most recent album MID AIR
Yessss
i personally thought boy anonymous was better but yeah their sound is crazy
@@ComradeSid boy anonymous is great, me personally my favorite is Red Hand Akimbo. however, i think Mid Air has more conceptual stories throughout the album that bob would enjoy more
I fuckin love Paris Texas
Second that
If you’d want to hear more of a metal/hip hop blend, I think you would LOVE Diaspora Problems by Soul Glo. There’s hardcore punk, rap rock, screamo, and a lot more.
Aaj by Bloodywood is up there!
It's Indian folk metal/rap
Soul Glo is dope, but metal/hip hop blend doesn't really describe them well. They are primarily hardcore, and incorporate different styles
Yesss great recommendation this album is fuckinf great
the Ye sycophants are gonna ruin the peggy community. If I have to hear about fantano giving biased criticism on him now even though he's been meh on previous singles from jpeg and gave maga kanye's kids see ghosts a 10. They gaslight in the comments like melon is the overly emotional one, but they cant even fathom one of their goat artist being criticized at all. Music isn't about idol worship it's about the art, these people don't seem to get that. I love jpeg's music and this one was on the high middle tier for me, people calling the meh listing "new ye bias" need to be checked into the psych ward.
People care WAAAAY too much about opinions of others lol. Let the dude enjoy what he wants, why do people even want "objective opinions", opinions are supposed to be subjective 😭
I loved this single tho, can't wait for indepedennt peggy era album
Uhm… wrong! *argues for 2 hours straight*
i think the possibility shouldnt be denied but yea overall this is a based and factual comment.
i can see it from both sides because i definitely see things this song is lacking. the album will be fire though trust
I LOVE Peggy, but tbh his community was kinda already ruined. Not saying EVERYONE is bad in the Peggy fandom (because there’s pretty much cool people in almost every fandom no matter how bad the majority gets), but there’s definitely some pretty annoying people in there
His album Black Ben Carson is his heaviest albums and no one ever reacts to it 😢
I’d also be curious to know how you feel about jpegs music under Devon Hendryx. He has a lot of old music that people seem to gloss over but should absolutely check out.
agreed
we desperately need more devon hendryx reactions on youtube
@@n2k970i yearn for reactions to Devon Hendryx
as a kpop lover and jpegmafia lover it was amazing to see him reference kpop i did not expect that
what he say?
@@lilmiiverse2 it was his friend featured on the song named freaky who said it, "i pray to allah, EXO, i let that k pop put that on my soul"
@@lonersdreamworld no way that’s hard hahaha
@@lilmiiverse2”I pray to Allah, Exo I let that k-pop, put that on my soul”
what kind of kpop artists do you like? always looking for recommendations
When I first heard the beat I did a double take and thought Pharrell produced it I was so confused 😂
Pls.. let’s be for real bruh
the 4 count that never ends
Yeah no
@@abaannsaba6697it will happen.
IF U WANT HIPHOP AND METAL TOGETHER LISTEN TO PARIS TEXAS!!! THEY HAD AN ALBUM CALLED MID AIR LAST YEAR AND ITS ROCK RAP, HAS THAT ENERGY ALL THE WAY THRU
plus a kanye cosign
and teezo feature
bob would fw mid air for sure
+ schoolboy q cosign
he needa listen fs
Death Grips blends metal and hip hop on The Powers That B.
Death Grips is criminally underrated IMO
@@lee.burnett i mean for the type of music they make, they are very popular compared to other artists in their realm
DEATH GRIPS THE POWERS THAT B TRUST ME
fr its been a while since he did a death grips album. tptb will make him lose his shit
Nastiest Peggy beat ever imo 🔥🔥🔥
That’s crazy. I think u need to hear more.
video reminds me of a old aphex twin video
he pulls a lot of influence from them in general
please listen to The powers that b by death grips. the second half is a blend of punk/metal and hip hop. its pretty close to what you described.
Bob please listen to Peggy's Black Ben Carson as well as the first track off the Second Amendment
BBC is one of my favorite albums, it's soo good🥵
I really really really hope he listens to black ben carson one day since he loves jpegmafia so much. And the whole 2nd amendment and communist slow jams would be awesome but I doubt he would do those
You need to listen to the powers that B by death grips! The second half is full on industrial-hip hop-rock-metal
You should really listen to Death Grips - Powers That B. The first half of the album is very disorienting and trippy and I'm sure you'll love it, but what you're going to really love is the second half Jenny Death. It's just explosive
w take on fake hype and the need for more energetic music. as someone who grew up on both rap and rock i had the same reaction as you to this, peggy really nailed that sound, can’t wait for the album+tour!!
This beat is crazy fr
Bob if you loved this new Peggy track…. You will LOVE The Powers That B 🗣️
Day 52 asking bob to listen to MIKE - Burning desire
Hey I got you I second this 👆
@@dez-m appreciate it big man 👍
i would love a black ben carson reaction it’s his most heavy and really underrated and no one reacts to it
Peggy has figured out how much to be experimental with a beat he doesn't over do it... Genius Peggy 🤓👍
I knew it was released when I saw the photo of your video! and right after I abSOLUTELY got mesmerized by it....came right back to ya Bobbo
Love how Bob can't stop smiling while listening. That's pure joy right there.
I know other people have already said this but if you love this you’ll love The Powers That B. Death Grips magnum opus in my opinion
Listen the the powers that b if you want some hip hop and metal
We need a The Powers that B reaction then! Side B is just pure guitar massacre with MC Ride over it
I watched this reaction video numerous times because I just love the song and Bob's reaction to it, too good.
Energy?? Do death grippps, start with powers that b
hes done the money store and bottomless pit and hes loved both
That track has some of the toughest beats and arrangements I've heard in a while. Great review and reaction.
Bob NEEDS to listen to City Morgue, his mind will be blown when he discovers true trap metal
zillakami is so good, dogboy had my tinnitus acting up
its crazy, normally i listen to the music drunk and bob is listenin to it sober, this is the reverse, but it still is the same result! i heard this 2m after it released this morning before work! i love time zones sometimes lol
Seeing Shawn become emotional over anything makes my day all the time and life worth living
The music video is insanely well put together
early $uicideBoy$ carries a ton of metal and punk influences to their sound. id recommend listening to their short LP - High Tide in the Snake’s Nest. they also just recently came out with a new album - New World Depression
Ruby - one of the duos members was also in multiple bands before him and and his cousin - Scrim, became $B
You definitely gotta listen to PARIS TEXAS-MID AIR ..shit is insane💥
bob on monday is crazy
I'm not even gonna lie, I love watching your Pegger reactions because you're just a bit as fan of his as I am and seeing this release instantly was exciting. Love your reactions, keep it up!!!
One of the things I love about this track is that I don’t hear much hi-hats. I think there’s a tambourine or maybe a hi-hat mixed pretty low. But the bass sound has so much high-end noise that it fills in a lot of that frequency range. And then the side-chaining gives it some rhythm. Really dope.
bob sir i think you gonna love jayz´s black album
especially 99problems
Bob, if you ever want more metal/hip-hop heavy combinations, you should check out rainbow bridge three by semetary. It’s a bit distorted and over-the-top, but the energy level is immense.
this song is absolute heat, glad you listened to it early.
i recommend you listen to black ben carson because a lot of its songs are reminiscent (not 100% similar but close) to this song in terms of abrasiveness
hear Peggy is like...watch a big movie, SO MUCH LAYERS, i really love him
i saw another comment saying this and i want to second it for you bobby boy. paris texas is right up your alley and their last album was bonkers. it was genuinely my album of the year last year because of how unique it sounded
Having a great time on a nice little trip and this song is very appealing at the moment
Bob the Poppop, Forever.
yo bob you the man, love you man. Watching since 12k
I recommend you listen to the Dälek album “From Filthy Tongue of Gods and Griots” if you haven’t heard it already. I think you’d love it.
CRIMINALLY underrepped imo
I think you’ll love death grips if you keep getting into them eventually
This is the hardest video on CZcams, till he drops again.
I love drunk Bob!
Bob I know it’s not rap but please check out brat by Charli xcx
the powers that b !!!!!
If you really love the this kind of sound then you should give Justice's debut album a listen! ❤
I know you would love that dark oppresive industrial sound of show me the body, and ho99o9, hope you can get to their music some day
luv u bob
I would love to hear your reaction to American Dream by 21 savage. Great album and great story telling. Keep it up man!
woa bob recognizes path
Wait until he hears City Morgue
you should check out PARIS TEXAS they are a hip hop and metal/ rock duo. super fire. (also fire peggy song and fire reaction)
I'm a metalhead, I really recommend Death Grips in general. They and Peggy really scratch that itch that metal scratches - just layered mayhem that is just symphonic all together.
Love it robert 😍
Hi Bob, love to catch your videos, just slapped that notif bell because i wasnt getting uploads in my feed! love this peggy track
I have a request by the way if you look into it would be wicked, there is a british duo called sleaford mods and they make some of the coolest post punk / hip hop/ rock ish, they have been regarded by iggy pop as the best rock and roll band of all time, which could sound pretty crazy to state but I would love to hear your opinion on them, I would say start with divide and exit for their iconic sound anyways i'm rambling have a good one
this song is pure heat. But on the topic of hip hop + metal please listen to city morgue i really think you would enjoy them man.
No additional thoughts on the carter 3 ? Also can we get some more texas reactions like h town, ugk, more erykah, some classic beyonce maybe?
I can't believe Peggy it's going to release a new album and you haven't listen to EP1 & 2
You should 100% listen to Hex Dealer by Lip Critic. It has a lot of drums and i think you would reallyyy like it
imagine the ghost pop tape
SONG OF THE YEARRRRRRRRR
I feel like this would make a killer gd level.
Please check out Paris Texas' new tape, they have a rock/rap blend. Sounds very fresh
I wish Bob would listen to Black Ben Carson and EP1 and 2 and maybe The Ghost ~Pop Tape but uh i have this feeling he wouldnt like that one that much
Bob any chance you do older Peggy? or are you just looking forward from here on out?
Have you listened to City Morgue yet? Def recommended
Metal x hip hop is the best combo imo I mainly listened to metal and rock before rap. So when there's anything resembling a guitar I nerd out a bit too. Like when Peggy sampled animals as leaders.
This means you should listen to the powers that b now
Poppop, you need to check out the rap group Soul Glo. You might really dig it.
I wonder if you’ll ever do stuff other than rap like Gemini rights definitely will be interesting since Steve lacy has produced for Tyler and Kendrick Lamar
Jenny Death from Death Grips would be the perfect album to listen to next
banger
Would absolutely listen to the newest album by Valence & Brae, NO HANDS. It’s very much inspired by not only groups like NWA and the Beastie Boys, but also very much inspired by the modern sounds of Peggy, Danny (he’s even featured on here), and other abstract rap artists. One of my favorite albums this year hands down.
I second this
TechN9ne also got loads of hard shit like this; when hip hop meets punk it can be a miss, but JPEGMAFIA, T9, Death Grips are all masters of the blend (which I fuckin love as both an oldhead and a metal fan)
if you want hiphop and metal together listen to anything by paris texas but their last album "mid air" is pretty good.
You should listen to Backxwash
THE POWERS THAT B
KENNY MASON, PARIS TEXAS, DEATH GRIPS
You have to react to Moment of Truth by Gang Starr! Love your content btw
Bro you gotta react to black ben carson if you like this song. Its probably his heaviest album up there with darkskin manson
Are you planning on listening to Ghost Pop Tape?
Hell yeah
GOAT PEGGY
black ben carson or communist slow jams reaction is needed now
This isnt a mashup of metal and hip-hop, it's Dubstep.
9:35 well $uicideboy$ did that together with travis barker
Live Fast, Die Whenever
SUICIDEBOY$ & Travis Barker u should check that out.
I dont listen to it often but if u like it i bet you’ll check out their other stuff that are more underground hip hop and i surely love that. Dont get scared by their name those 2 boys are dope
Scarlxrd is pretty good for metal hiphop and hes been doing it for 7 years now, he even started as a metal artists before transitioning into more hiphop oriented metal. Most of his stuff from 2017-2022 is very much that.
Pleaseeee bob the powers that b
