Many F1 visa interviews begin and end with this one question - Why this university. It is difficult to find unique and relevant points because many USA universities are similar - however it has to be done :)
In this video I am going to take you three 3 Donts and 3 Dos for answering the question - Why this university.

My f1 interview is on 26th August.
my 1st i-20, Class start date was 22nd August, and this is what i filled in my DS-160. However i got interview date for 26th August.
So my university considered me, and issued new i-20 for 5th September.
Does this in any way affect my chances? And do i need to state this information to the VO?

I got accepted at Massart college, Boston for fall 2022, and for my visa initially while booking I got a waiver for biometrics and an interview since I already had a tourist visa.
But after 8 days from dropbox, I was intimidated for a pick up by mail and text, but when I checked my status it showed refused.
upon collection, I got a paper that asked me to be present for an interview on any working day.
I don't know really know the real reason why I was asked but it could be
A - That in past 9 years in spite of visa I have not visited
B- I have a older sibling in California who has H1 b visa

Hello maam, i have already submitted my ds 160 form and had paid the fees. I am right now looking for appointments for visa interview. During filling ds 160 i was employed. 2 weeks from now i will resign, so should i create a new application on my current ds 160(after resigning) stating that i am currently umeployed and fill up the previous employer details. Also my course is for 16 months and i have mentioned intended length of stay as 16 months, while in my i20 the it is 28 months. What should i do here. Should i fill up a new ds 160 over the current ds 160.
