Just watched this excellent, info-packed video! Thank you! I'll be watching it again to make more notes! We are going back to Florence but only for 1 day (cruise stop from port Livorno) this year. So much to see! I will check out your tours!
Thank you so much. Happy travels
Lived The Dream, in the &0’s, worked doing pastel portraits for half a year for 3 years, returning to work at Uffizi & Duomo in the day and Ponte Vecchio at night! I really went to Eat and get addicted to cappuccino! Ran into Pavarotti, raised a pigeon, rescued cats at The Boboli Garden, and escaped my Fidanzado- jogged right to the Train Station! Lived at Borgo Santa Croce #4, visited Michelangelo’s tomb every morning after getting a cappuccino and jogging around the Piazza! Had dinner in Dante’s House! Had Gelato Every Day! Would do it all Again! Maybe I WILL?
Cool.
🎉😊

My dream came true , last year . I went to Florence, but I did all those places in two days! For sure I going to go back again. Excellent video, easy explain, well done!🇨🇦🇦🇷
Please do! Thanks for watching. Happy Travels
I watched a lot of CZcams videos before spending 3+ days in Firenze. This was hands-down the best. It was full of valuable information, and not a bunch of "Instagram Facebook like fluff." We hit most of the eating spots Angel did! And they were great! I even learned a new phase to announce my happiness - "Where have you been!" Molto grazie!
That’s so great to hear. Thanks so much 👍🏽
Sooo interesting!❤
😂🤣😂
Super video...thanks a lot

well done! Enjoyed this video.
Glad to hear it!
I love Florence! I I was there last October and things were busy so there's a lot of great tips here for beating those lines.
Totally agree! Thanks Luke
Great job Angel!

Hi!! This is a super video!! Quick question. We are traveling from New York City and will be in Florence on March 21-24, arriving from Rome at 13h00 on March 21st and staying at The Savoy Hotel! Do you have a favorite guide who can book a walking tour for us on the 21st from 15h00 to 18h00? We will see the Uffizi and Accademia separately. Let me know.
You can book guide’s and tours here thetourguy.com/tours/florence
I did the Florence in a day tour in April and had Chiara as our guide for the morning tour! She was amazing!
Fantastic. Glad you enjoyed it
Love your style of presentation
Thanks so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for your reply, I don't usually get the direct response from my comments . We are heading out to Bologna and Florence next month.... Your video has already helped me a lot in terms of planning. Thank you
@@kypsonywakahisa403 That's what we are here for, to help people and make travel better through our tours. Not views.

We do too!
Great content, but also a really nice video production. Just like a travel show you'd see on TV.

I watched this video multiple times ( and took notes) before we went to Florence. It was very helpful!! When we arrived in Florence, I felt like I was there before. All the places recommended are worth seeing. Thanks for your videos - since we went to Tuscany and planned on visiting other cities, I watched your other videos as well. We visited Luca, Pisa, Siena, Montepulciano, Perugia, San Giminiano and Arezzo.
Wonderful! Thank you. Where to next time?
Same here. I will make a tour agenda and get tickets ahead of time. Tour guides will be booked!!!
Good work, thanks.

"They don't ask you what milk you're gunna have"😂 A much needed and very important detail imo❤❤. Thank you for another amazing tour!!❤ My husband and I are visiting Italy for the first time ever in a few weeks and you are a huge part of our planning❤❤Thank you so much!!

My family's favorite place to visit, so much so that we plan to buy a small place there when we retire
You wouldn't be the first! It's understandable for sure
great to see a video just in time for our trip! just wondering if the hotel in florence/rome has luggage storage service for guests?
You can always ask, send a message on social media or email.
My favorite part of your videos is when you say “those who stand in line” and they stare immediately 😂
Love your videos. I needed help to organize my overwhelming itineraries and you reminded me to keep it simple!!
Love your energy!
😁 The more simple the better
Awesome videos and presentation. Do visit New Zealand 🇳🇿
Hopefully someday. It’s on the list
great vid!! very informative. when is the best time to visit italy?
Italy is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Broadly speaking, you can find minimal crowds in January-March, Mid-November until the first week of December.
Thank you for your amazing video! It's super helpful. Just wondering if the city is crowded with tourists in mid Aug. Thank you
Is the Pope Catholic? That's also the time when students arrive
Noted, thank you ☺️
Absolute dream
It feels like it when you are there. But dreams come true
Right! 13:49 And, that plaza was a lot more crowded when I was there Aug. 2019. By the Way, very good editing 21:00 . This video makes me want to go back to Florence.
It’s never too late to go back. See you in Florence
Thank you for this great video of Florenze! What was the hotel called where you got a version of a negroni (around 22:30)?

There is only one place in the world where everyday life is so completely reflected in the sublime, in a wonderful mix of nature and culture........it is Tuscany.
Marie-Henri Beyle, Stendhal
Great quote
Thanks for this very informative video. Will be in Florence in January 2024.
What is the name of that restaurant- the Trattoria something? Florentine steak looks amazing!
It was AH-MAZING! Go back and watch and pause the video. Sign is on the outside.
Awesome video. Can I ask if you guys offer a tour to Florence that will start in La spezia? We are coming off from a cruise ship and there’s 6 of us. I wana do the Duomo climb and seeing the statue of David. Pls let me know if it’s possible. September 12. Thanks
No but you can take the train to Florence and meet us there. Here are the tours: thetourguy.com/tours/florence
Great video and list of places. Since this is Florence in a day, how long did you stay in the places like the Accademia, Palazzo Vecchio, etc that had works of art to view. My wife hates to just rush through those. Thinking we might split this over 2 days. Thank you
I’m a big believer in not rushing around and even though I did a lot in one day in Florence I certainly was not rushing. This was my ideal day in Florence. With that said, he didn’t make your wife upset, stressed, or feel rushed. Go at your own pace for sure. Does that means spreading things out between two or three days that works too! You can book the sites individually on our website or as part of a Florence in a day. The beauty about Florence in the day is that you can go back and do a deep dive on day two or three or simply spend more time doing other things or relaxing
19:46 "It's chicken pate.. oh it's my lucky day." Great reply, and it's rhyme!! 🤣😂
Hahah I wasn’t expecting it! 🤣😂 Thanks for the comment. Happy Travels
Fantastic video Any tips on where to stay
Thanks so much. Of course. Here is our list of where to stay in Florence. thetourguy.com/travel-blog/where-to-stay-in-florence-this-year/
I'll be there in June FOR A DAY! SO.. I will let you know if your video helped me.
Good idea. Thanks
Nice
Thanks
Yup ,, I love Firenze
The others they call it Florence
I work and live here for about 16 yrs.😍
Great 👍🏼
Question please - I am usually very good at finding the name of a place (if not mentioned in the video) by looking in the background and finding some identifing words, marks, or logos but at 21:13 I am unable to identify and it was not mentioned. What is the name of the restaurant that they had the Fried Ravioli please?
How do you contact local guides?

We Vietnamese loves pate livers with the baguettes🥖
Yummy 😋
We just came back and all we want is to go back!
I know the feeling!
Hoping to be there in Sept
Cool. I hope it works out. Check out our tours when you are ready.
I'm thinking about a solo trip to Rome the week before Christmas. Would a day trip to Florence in December be a good idea for a solo traveler??
Why not? It’s only an hour by train
I think I'm going to do a food tour in August.
Do it! See you there!
@@TheTourGuyVids I travel to Florence a few times a year. We will be back in August.
I will be spending about 3 hours in Florence in October, can you recommend what sites we should visit while there. We are going on a cruise.
Watch the video and pick one

I'm planning a day trip to Florence from Milan next month for food tour😅.
Great. Enjoy! 👍🏼
Would I be ok to go to these places to eat if I don’t speak Italian? Also, do the markets and restaurants mostly accept a card or do I need to pay cash?
Vendors always appreciate cash over cards but cards are widely accepted now.
As far as language, greet people in the local language when you enter. Learn phrases like, “do you speak English” “please” “thank you”. This will show a willingness and a lack of entitlement. Things will be easy from there. If you are desperate use google translate
Which has a more satisfying view after the climb? Duomo or bell tower
For me, the duomo.
How can we reach out to the guide to arrange to have her for our next visit?
Which guide?
@@TheTourGuyVidsthe one that appears with you on the 5th minute of the video. I want to reach out to her as we’re visiting for one day late october
@@Ljverexxx It’s the Florence duomo tour thetourguy.com/tours/florence
We are coming by ship in October into Laspezia. What are your suggestions?
How much time do you have? What time does the ship arrive?
@@TheTourGuyVids the ship arrives at 8:30 a.m. and departs at 8:30 pm.
No cats or names asked ...😂 you are right... American Influencer snow flakes coffee is the worst... what's worst... waiting behind one of those people in line.
We are cruising through Florence in November with about 8hrs to visit the city. Can you list the five places that we must see and eat?
all theses places you visit by foot? no public transpo right?
Yup. Walked everywhere. Florence is small
What's the name of the restaurant with the steak?
Excuse me. I will be heading to Rome in 2 weeks. Is it still cold? I thought its sweltering there now

best leather shop is by Sta Croce, scuola del cuoio...
Thank You
Your video made us realize we visited the wrong central market floor lol...we should have gone down to the bottom floor, apparently
Now you have a reason to go back!!
I am somewhat confused. If I buy a skip the line ticket, then exactly where do I go to skip this line? Do I just walk to the front and cut in? Are there specific, separate entrances a bit distant from the long lines? Especially at the Uprising and Accademmia.. Thank you
Your guide will escort you in
What if we don't want a tour guide? Thank you for the quick previous response. We are in Florence right now.
@@luisvenitucci5665 oh wow. Then you will be missing out on important stories and info presented by professionals who make the art come to life. If you want to buy a ticket online, since it’s so last minute for you, you will be subject to whatever time slots are left. I would go in the afternoon before closing for less crowds. With your reservation just go in the reserved tickets que and present ticket there
I usually spend a week or two in Florence and it’s still not enough time to soak it all in. It’s impossible to spend only a day there. Unless you only want to just take snaps of major attractions and say “I’ve been there”. Florence is just not meant to be rushed through.
Thanks Meredith
To climb through Duomo you need tickets purchased in advanced. This is not free on weekdays.
Correct. Who said it's free?
How to hire for tour?
Here you go! Book our tours here thetourguy.com/tours/florence
Do you have a tour from florence to parma, modena or saint francis de assisi.

Ma come fai a visitare Firenze in un giorno? Assurdo
You are right. Stay for as long as you like. But this is my ideal day.
Awesome but turn down the music and turn up the voices. Would rather hear what you are saying than the music. It's too loud.
Thanks but you are the first person to say this about this episode 🤔
Booked a trip with The Tour Guy in Florence. Had planned this and booked this trip 5 months earlier. Turned up at the meeting point only to be told they have no booking and no details. I was refused entry to the coach and did not go on the trip I paid for. The TourGuy ruined my trip to Italy that I have been planning for 6 months. Terrible. I do NOT recommend this company.
didnt watch, answer to the question: don't. Take more time to see this beautiful city
What question? There is no question to what our ideal day in Florence is like.
