I'm in agreement with you. I live in a 'sticks and bricks' and can't imagine living in a van full time since it's hot like hell right now. . I would later like to get a van to serve as a bug-out vehicle.
Hot as hell? Drive like hell! A main point of van life is that your house has wheels! I follow the seasons. Right now while you’re burning up just to get groceries or walk your doggie, me and my doxie are in the 60s along the coast. Did I mention the sunsets?! Seriously, every time I start thinking of looking at property, I laugh and say “just kidding!”

Lindy, when I left a high humidity state in the east, I was having such trouble just breathing. I relocated to the west, and the drop in humidity gave me my life back. I live at about 6000 feet elevation but I would not go higher because I can get dizzy. I miss the east, but I would never go back. I love watching your videos, it's like chatting with a friend! And Marley is such a love 🥰

You and ma Terry are my world, I feel like family when I see you 2. Her Ms . Lucy is a gem. You don't show your dog as much but I know just how a dog completes your life. I really believe they are God's agent making sure you are always needed.
I love your heart it's pure looking all around is wise I think it's nuts to look into cam constantly it's better and natural to set cam up talk about life and share something with someone else. CAMMO . I watched till the end. You didn't cammo I still remember him he was a great guy that included so many in this world of misfit toys. When I went to the 2017 RTR I felt that the participants was just lik a scene in Berl Ives Christmas special, the part where they showed the land of the misfit toys. All of us had something wrong missing leg arm brain injury but we got along and rubbed elbows for a change.CAMO.

I think it's way more expensive to heat and cool an apartment or a house.I hope you could get a tiny house in your son's backyard with a ti y garden. It would be so expensive to upkeep a central heat an air unit.
Marley is so used to van life, she might need a tiny van shaped dog house to be able to adjust. With tiny seats in it and a van life dog bed .I think Marley might like to still go for trips. A big house would probably confuse Marley. A tiny home is way easier to clean and heat and cool. It's easier to throw an air conditioner in the window than call an air conditioning repair guy for an expensive heat and air guy. Marley could spend part time in the van and part time at he tiny house and be happy as a pea in a pod. I thank you liddy for sharing your story. 🌹

all the time, we always pass a couple of displays of tiny homes. They are so cute, that I'm
seriously thinking about getting one if I outlive my husband. At 82, 2000sq ft is just too much
to keep clean. I spend more time on my knees cleaning, dusting, baseboard etc, than sitting in a chair. Good luck to you and Marley.

Dry air, less trees and varieties, desert is better for those of us with allergies and asthma. The higher we go the thinner the air is. Yes Arizona, New Mexico good for allergy and asthma suffers.
I can understand it!! After being OTR EXPEDITE and traveling for 11 yrs, I am having some medical problems and not doing what I truly loved!! And I am not sleeping well!! Going to be swapping my Queen bed for the twin bed in the spare room that is being set up for guests!! Hopeing that will help!!
Cooking for 2 isn't easy for me, for yrs when I cooked it was for 6-15 people, so leftovers is definitely happening here!! Soups get frozen for later, or I call grandson to come eat or clean out fridge giving him 2-4 meals for him and his wife!! Same with baking!!
But in a few days, I start canning Peach Jam!! And have a list of family and friends that will get a jar or 2!! That's my way of passing time, not doing what I really want to do!! Maybe next year as the Dr says! But for now I'm enjoying watching you and many others out there!! Stay safe!! And was wondering how your gardening is going?? Mine is becoming a "Critter Buffet", but going forth with the tomatoes and cucumbers!!❤

When I went up to Seligman and Williams I got sinus congestion to the point my upper teeth were hurting. Thought I had cavities so went to dentist. No cavities but left sinus was congested. A fee days of echineas and lower elevation cleared it up.

You are so appreciated for all of your posts.I enjoy every video you make and your channel has taught me that although van life is a really good idea, I would probably do best if I can somehow survive in the crazy sticks and bricks market. I love the sense of freedom but it looks like vanlife takes as much work and resources as living in an apt, just a different kinds of work and expenses. I am very frugal. If I lived in a van I do not know what I would do with all of my herbs and supplements. So your channel has inspired me to keep working on my third career. I'm building a new website ( with a different name LOL) and going to try again LOL. I am glad that you are in the good air of AZ. The heat here in Napa county has made ill this week. It got up to 106 and my apt has no ac. It should be a little better this week.

What an attitude!
It's the dry air lot's of people move in AZ that have asthma symptoms and they breathe better, and when you go to high elevation it takes about a week to get use to it i have heart problems and that's how long it takes me to get used to it, and try to stay outside the van it help to recover faster.

I gave a homeless woman enough money to get an apartment about 2 years ago and she still sits on a sidewalk in town .The air is thinner the higher the elevation that’s why you get breathless

You need to make adjustments for this heat. Please don't try taking on this heat off grid. You probably are coughing dude to pollution from China their coal use flows all the way to CA.
