Oh, and to answer your questions, It was mostly awful and I have no idea if Boo is the witch from Brave. I did however get to see concept art from Cars back in 2001. In Toy Story 3, Andy choose Woody as his old toy to go college with him instead of Buzz, because Woody was the most precious, meaningful gift toy from Andy's father before he died and suffered from polio. So, Andy decided choose Woody to go to college, to keep his dad's memories alive and never fade.

In Toy Story 2 when Al tries to buy Woody at the garage sale, Andy's mom tells Al that Woody is an "old family toy." If it was just her son's toy, then she would have probably just said it's her son's and not called it old. I think the writer passing away when he did fills in a lot of gaps and problems I had about the 3rd and 4th movie. If the writers of those movies had know this information, I feel like Andy would have never given Woody to Bonnie. He not only had physical value but sentimental. Even if he was ignorant to the fact that Woody was one of a kind he would never had given slinky dog, Mr. potato head and Woody. I know I would have kept them as a keep sake my whole life, just because it was from my dad, if it was me.

Woody being a gift from Andy’s Dad explains why he was so hesitant on giving Woody away in Toy Story 3. But Andy gave Woody to Bonnie because Bonnie liked Woody, for her to play with him (Woody).

@@MinisDunyasi5 I think that your statement about how Bonnie's love for Woody having vanished is true, and is the main reason for why he acts the way he does in the fourth movie. Woody isn't used to the idea of not being his kid's favorite toy, this has been shown very clearly in the first movie, too, and while it didn't last for long while Andy owned him, it was something that he had to cope with throughout the fourth movie. And looking at all the evidence we got about this, such as Andy having gotten Woody from his dad and Bonnie being a girl, it makes sense why she would eventually start to lose her feelings for him that she had when she first got Woody

Nikki Blake Well, yes and no. She wasn’t taking care of him, but it wasn’t happening for that long. The other toys in the closet with Woody say that this it was the third time that week that Bonnie wasn’t playing with Woody. So, she was still playing with him, just not as much. Which actually makes sense as most kids tend to cycle through their toys over time.
But yeah, I didn’t like Bonnie in TS4 either 😑 Not because she wasn’t playing with Woody much anymore, more so because they made her more immature and frankly annoying. In TS3, Bonnie’s character is great because she may be a kid, but she’s a mature kid. She takes good care of her toys, she acts pretty grown up for her age (not whiny or bratty).
In TS4, she neglects her toys (at least when Forky comes around) and then whines and mopes when she can’t find him. Not to mention she leaves her backpack in the antique store right after her parents reminded her to not forget her backpack.
My guess as to why they made her so neglectful of Woody was to provide a better reason for him to go with Bo. Because if Bonnie still played with him a lot, it would seem awful for Woody to just abandon his kid because he still has goo goo eyes for Bo.

Additional explanation about Polio, after I did a little research. The reason why a Polio patient's possessions had to be burned is because the virus can spread from person to person. Why doesn't Andy contract Polio after inheriting his dad's toys, Woody, Slinky, and Potato Head? The Poliovirus can only last for two months outside the body. The toys having been locked away for years as young Andy grew up, the virus, by the time Andy inherits the toys, will have expired.

Guys, you're missing the point. Andy Sr. tells Andy Jr. that the things in the trunk were something special to him during his childhood. The toys become special to Andy Jr. during his childhood and he passes them to down in Toy Story 3 to become the special thing in the little girls life. Those toys made Andy happy during his sickness and they made Andy Jr. happy during a time of mourning. Andy Jr. passes them down to share the happiness he got from them. Sharing the the joy he got from them makes him a happier person just before moving on just it made his father happier before moving on. Or am I just crazy? Please, if I am wrong correct me, but Toy Story is about sharing the joy you get from your favorite things instead of hanging on to them in a selfish manner.

    • @christianali5431

Kevin Miller toy story three is about that, certainly, but the first toy story film is about being there for your kid when they need you, and doing things to make them happy. The second toy story film, on the other hand, is about standing by your child until they outgrow you, knowing that you can't stop them from growing up, but there's nothing you would rather do than to see it happen every step of the way.

    • @bucwhovian8305

I also thought that it was a bit weird. Yeah chastise if you want, I didn't like the ending to Toy Story 3. The way he talks in that scene about a bunch of toys!?! You're 18 man, grow up! But if they were his late farther's, that makes a bit more sense. Still though he talks that way about toys his farther didn't own, so I still think that's a bit odd.

Andy Sr died around 1-2 years before Toy story 1 based off Molly’s age, which means Woody has only spent 2-4 Christmases/Birthdays with Andy Jr. When Andy Sr was a child, he probably didn’t get much considering how poor his parents were, meaning the fear of getting replaced was virtually nonexistent.
