This seems like this is a prequel on how Aphmau got her wolf in the first place. In almost every episode she has a wolf companion so maybe that same wolf is the wolf that we see in almost every episode. (In the end it's basically a back story of how she got the wolf companion.)
This remind me of my journey to be happy with myself. I really love this video and I'm glad that she made it so I know I wasn't the only 1 who went through a journey too.
