The Trolleybus at '10.29' was actually delivered on 25/03/1953, numbered TG1 G meaning GUY, but was actually a Sunbeam F4A. This being one of only 5 Trolleybuses ever being bodied by Alexander's Falkirk. It was taken out of service on 26/02/1965. Thank you for sharing a view that has not been previously seen.

Ah, the 12A and 5A buses used them for years.
Used to love the Transcard pass I had for school, at the weekend I used to travel all over Glasgow for nothing.😊

As a kid, often got the NO12 back to Toryglen, didn't know there was a 12A, until I saw this pic.

I grew up in barmulloch in the 80s. Brilliant seeing the old orange no. 12 bus which I used regularly into town and back home !

Hated getting in the one that went through barmulloch as opposed to wallacewell Rd, it added a whole 10 mins on my journey to the top of Northgate Rd lol!

The last photo is scary. The men have no special safety gear and look as if they've just come from the shop floor...
    "Are you free, Mr Humphreys?"
    "I'm free, Captain Peacock."
"Well step up onto the roof and tighten the bolts on the Lewis's sign, will you?"

Got to agree. I don't know what's worse, the 6 floor drop to the pavement or the spikey railings just below the sign.
