I love the elements of irony and foreshadowing in this movie!
Shelly said “in your dreams” to Jeremy at the dance and later on dies in a body bag.
Lilly says “eww” to Jeremy then later on eats maggots and body ends up in a dumpster.
Paige says “I’d rather be boiled alive” then dies in a hot tub.
Dorothy lies about Jeremy attacking and then gets framed for the murders.

Yup exactly. Valentine is one of those movies that you root for the killer instead of the main character's to win. It also teaches you a valuable lesson to be aware of your actions and how they come with severe or extreme consequences and circumstances as your past is coming right back to haunt you as that was Jamie Blanks purpose and interpretation of the story which works perfectly for the movie which made it unique and special. 😍😎💯👍 Jeremy Melton began life as a lonely and awkward young boy. He was also a social outcast at San Francisco Robert F. Kennedy Middle school whom he was deeply infatuated by five girls named Shelly Fisher, Lily Voight, Paige Prescott, Kate Davies, and Dorothy Wheeler. He looked up to Valentine's Day to finally find social acceptance, happinesses, and loved in one of his crushes but that backfired horribly. Everytime when I watch the opening scene it fills me with rage and sadness as my heart aches for Jeremy 🥺😟😭 as Shelly, Lily, Paige rejected him in a cruel and heartless way as they we're not considerate and sympathetic of his feeling's, Kate also rejected him as well but at least she did it in a kind and polite way as she was considerate and sympathetic of his feeling's which is why he always loved her and spared her life, and Dorothy framed him for sexual assault, got him beat up by bullies, and got sent to reform school. I definitely feel remorse and empathy for Jeremy as I totally sympathize for him as he was falsely accused of a sexual assault allegation as he got sent to reform school, a year later he lands in juvenile hall, and six months later he stayed at a mental hospital. For the past 13 years Jeremy went through a whole and full transformation in order to change his appearance in order to get close to Shelly, Lily, Paige, and Dorothy so he can exact his revenge as he specifically remember's their comments they state to him when he ask each one of them to dance which foreshadow their fates. Jeremy went through pain, agony, hell, and trauma due to their actions as he was publicly humiliated which made him overcome with rage and vengeance thus making him into a serial killer with the sole intention of getting revenge. Watching Jeremy getting his revenge on them was so satisfying as they all deserved it as they did not take full responsibility for their actions as their past is coming right back to haunt them all as they do not have no remorse or regret. 😏😈

She rejected Jeremy in a kind and polite way as she was considerate and sympathetic of his feeling's and she feels remorse and empathy for him despite the fact that she knows he is the killer after Dorothy confesses that he never attacked her. I'm so happy it's finally getting it's much deserved recognition and respect. To people calling it a Scream ripoff I simply say, as brilliant and iconic as Scream was, especially with reviving the genre in the late 90s. Scream did not invent the slasher subgenre. There are many classics that set the foundation for what we love and appreciate in slashers today. Scream is great, Valentine is great, both statements can be true and in fact are.

I definitely feel remorse and empathy for Jeremy as I totally sympathize and understand his anger as he was completely innocent the whole entire time as he was falsely accused of a sexual assault allegation as he got sent to reform school, a year later he lands in juvenile hall, and six months later he stayed at a mental hospital. In my opinion Dorothy should have view Jeremy's invitation to dance as a positive standpoint as at least someone had interest in her since she wasn't really popular like Shelly, Lily, Paige, and Kate and everything would have been cool if Dorothy was real and just told the truth that she was kissing Jeremy. For example-( Bully)- " You like it Buffalo getting hot?" ( Dorothy)- " Yeah I am it was great." Fun fact: the actress playing Ruthie is Hedy Burress, the English voice of Yuna from Final Fantasy X.

Hedy Burress did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Ruthie Walker as she put tons of emotion and depth into her role. 😍😎💯👍

She was in a great (sadly shortlived) sitcom called Boston Common. Pulled of an almost perfect southern accent.

Hi guys! I was just wondering; You talked about Chucky and Titanic and a bunch of other movies but I couldn’t find their reactions.
Will you react to the Child’s Play movies (minus the remake) and Titanic 97? Or have you already seen them??
Also I think you should react to the Spanish horror classic “The Orphanage”, the Poltergeist movies (minus the remake) and also The Sixth Sense and The Others.
EDIT: Oh! And the TV show “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. That stars David Boreanaz who played Angel in that show and also stars in this movie so I was reminded of it!
It’s also amusing how this got called a Scream ripoff when Marley Shelton was one of the cops “Judy Hicks” in both Scream 4 and Scream 22.

Hello! So we haven’t done a Titanic reaction (we’ve definitely seen it-it’s one of our all time favs!) but we did a tier-ranking video of the Titanic characters back in April! It’s pretty fun if you haven’t watched it! And we definitely plan on covering the Chucky movies! We have seen them all a million times but still plan on doing a commentary-type video on all the movies in the franchise and will be dropping a Chucky season 1 reaction series starting soon! And then reacting to Chucky season 2 weekly once it starts. Thanks for the recommendations!!!! We appreciate it and you!

I love Valentine. It's one of the best slasher movies. It's something about it that really intrigues me. It has this sexy and guilty pleasure vibe such as the concept, elements, tone, and theme as it was just constructed perfectly. It was such a unique and creative perspective in the slasher genre. The actresses did a great job portraying their roles. Also I love that twist ending and that song called Breed by Snake River Conspiracy that plays at the ending credits. It was just a really perfect way to end the movie. To this day I keep up a tradition of watching it every February and I consider it decent. Valentine is a true blue modern gem. Jamie Blanks directed a classic that will be in our hearts forever. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍

Definitely one of those movies where you were kinda on the killers side lol. They were all mean to him. Especially Dorothy who deserved it the most and I love that he put all the blame on her in the end. The only one that treated him kindly was Kate and that’s why she survived. Moral of the story: be kind.
