Thank you for watching! I can't believe the video got this many views. To all the harissa lovers out there, I just uploaded one new video with 3 recipes(using harissa) to get you started. czcams.com/video/1CNcnF3dp1Y/video.html
Some of the best dishes in the world are made under a false name. Classic Italian spaghetti bolognese, yeah there's no such thing, order it in Italy and you might be surprised to find sausages in your sauce rather than mince. Order garam masala in India, and you'll find your bowl is full of barely ''clothed'' bones, rather than tender chicken breast. Don't be so narrow minded mate.
I first tried harissa in sousse, tunisia. Loved it so much that i brought home two jars and used it as a topping on cheese sandwitches! Absolutely wonderful!
One of my fondest memories living in North Africa is the food!!! You get fresh your bread straight from the local bakery.... just slap some spicy Harissa on it,. with a glass of milk (halib), and that right there is your breakfast!!!
Thank you for sharing, I had Harissa paste on my shopping list and couldn't find it in the supermarket, now I have seen how easy it is to make I am going to give it a try!
Attempting a goat recipe that call for harissa. Wanted to make sure that the recipe I am following is correct and authentic. While searching I found your video. Thank you very much for showing me how to make this chili sauce and you are such a lovely lady.
3asslama! As a Tunisian myself, seeing a CZcams channel like this is something I've been longing to see for a few years. So happy I stumbled upon this channel because you've gained yourself a new subscriber! Hope your channel grows and prospers.
A Taste of Something Hi, is citronnade a drink? Where I'm from, that's what we call a drink we make from lime juice. It's the Caribbean version of lemonade. Personally for me, the one made from key limes is the best! 😊
My Savory Table - I’m going to try this next week. My brother in law brought some to the states on his visit, and unknowingly, my daughter tossed it out when she cleaned the refrigerator. So I said I’d TRY making it. I know it’s not going to be like his Mom makes LOL
Imen, I must try this as my husband and our 3 sons all love "spicy"!! Very interesting facts also about Tunisia and the Harissa Festival! Excellent presentation!
Thanks for the recipe! We add preserved lemon pulp and lemon juice in Morocco, then we fry it in a bit of olive oil to evaporate the liquid. You should try it, it gives it a nice tanginess! I'm going to try it your way next time.
Yes this recipe is very similar to what I do. I like my harissa coarse also, but some people like it more pasty and after using the food processor they would pass the paste in a food mill but they will end up with a lot less harissa.
I first found Harissa at my local Trader Joe’s and it was one of the most INCREDIBLE pastes I had ever tried!! Of course I knew I had to make some of my own eventually. I’m going with your recipe because it looks super simple to make :)
Thank you for the nice video. What is the 4th spice after cumin, caraway and coriander? It doesn't come through clearly on the video and I tried going to your website but I could only find more videos without written ingredients. Thanks.
That looks wonderful, and surely couldn’t be easier. Can you freeze the harissa? It looks like it would freeze about as well as pesto. Thanks for posting, can’t wait to try ^_^
The best Tunisian tuna sandwich in ISRAEL is in Ramle shuk(local Market) they are best in ISRAEL, the recipes is the sauce. I been finding recipes of sauce and finally I found it, that’s for you video. One more question do we use fresh red chilies??? Or it’s only sun dry chilies?

@Em Catalina Hi, sorry I didn't have the time lately to update the links. My website is under construction right now, but I just added harissa recipe in the description box and updated the link to my Instagram. Thank you for watching. All the links will be updated once the website is ready.
I came to your video after having what was suppose to be lamb harissa at a local restaurant. Something told me is was not right. Flavorless and bland. From your video I now see what was missing. Thank you.
Love the recipe, as I lived in Libya for a while I got used it and started making it. BUT! Use gloves please, the capsinoids (the chemicals that makes it hot) is fat soluble so rubbing oil on your hands will make it worse.

How can I make it with fresh chillies?
Hello. Thank you for video recipe. Let me ask please, why didn't you púť spice into blender together with chilli? Does it change taste?
That looks wonderful, and surely couldn’t be easier. Can you freeze the harissa? It looks like it would freeze about as well as pesto. Thanks for posting, can’t wait to try ^_^
thatliahelene, Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it.
Yes, you can freeze harissa for up to 3 months.
Wow.. Great leçon..! Tu fais les vidéos en français aussi ?
Looks great!
What is the name of the dry chilli peppers you used?
👏👏🫶🤩
Can anyone writes down the name of spices lady has used in harisa

Salt and what was the fourth one 🤔

Thank you for the comment. Traditional Tunisian Harissa uses un dried chilies. If you use fresh chili, you won't get the same depth of flavors.
Do you ever make it with rose petals?
Is there any kind of harissa, that requires processig procedure up to a week
Thank you for the video, we love your enthusiasm and the way you taste your food :D. I have a qucik question, what variety of chilli would you recommend using? Cheers
Hi there, is it 150grams of dry chillies or already soaked ones?
Do you have a recipe for harissa with fresh chillis?
Thank you for another great recipe! Which type of red chilies do you use? I'm in the USA. Thanks again.
@BellaFerman I used dried chili de Arbol.
Great, what kind of chili???
Wow she is beautiful.
To everyone, there is a huge difference between what type of chilli's you're using.

Lady ? where's the garlic ?
Peder skram She clearly uses garlic in the recipe.
You're right, I was too hasty with my comment. Anyways that's probably the best chili paste around. Tunisian, that is.
Love the recipe, as I lived in Libya for a while I got used it and started making it. BUT! Use gloves please, the capsinoids (the chemicals that makes it hot) is fat soluble so rubbing oil on your hands will make it worse.
Please dont eat that the whole day!
