Lyrics:
Don't come back anytime I've already had your kind.
This is your pay back, money grabber.
Don't come back anytime, you've already run me dry.
This is your pay back, money grabber.
Teardrops fade.
Then I saw, blue hands in the pocket.
'Cause you were always made to want it all.
But now you got to make it on your own.
This ain't your home.
So I'm showing you the door.
Wave goodbye now, it's time for you to go.
Don't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.
This is you pay back, money grabber.
Don't come back anytime, you've already robbed me blind.
This is your pay back, money grabber.
Blue rhinestone glass.
All I see.
You talking double.
Like the time you set fire to me.
'Cause I'm in trouble.
Here's my advice .
I don't think twice for the price of a cheap time whore.
Don't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.
This is you pay back, money grabber.
Don't come back anytime, you've already robbed me blind.
this is your pay back, money grabber.
One. Two. Three.
One is for the money.
Two is for the greed .
And three times that I told you you're the one,
I just don't need .
Don't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.
This is you pay back, money grabber.
Don't come back anytime, you've already robbed me blind.
This is your pay back, money grabber.
Money grabber.
Money grabber
Don't come back anytime, I've already had your kind.

Criminal Minds - season 6 episode 5. I heard this on there and instantly looked for it....found it. Thanx
Me 2
Same
Kombat King I’m rewatching the show and all I could think was how I didn’t find this before
Fuckin oath
Just did the same thing, then I see this comment 😂🤣
Someone needs to get Fitz and the Tantrums to do a James Bond theme. They would kill it!
You are right Alex.
I first heard this song on an episode of criminal minds :)
Guy was killing an entire family, but damn that background noise
Me too. I was like; "boy this is murder terrible...But that music though!"
I heard the song before. But forget about it. I'm watching that episode now. And I heard it and memories awoke so I came looking for it. It's awesome. I think it's the only song on the show that has parts of its music video shown so blatantly.
there is nothing like hearing great tunes while people get stabbed
same lmao
Cait R-A girl I just passed that episode right now and I literally had the song in my head the whole episode and just went all the way back just to figure out the song LMAO
You know what I love about this song? It sounds older than what it actually is. When I first heard this, I thought this song was made in the 70's. That's the charm about its classic sound.
Exactly! I could have sworn this was a 70s song!
I don’t think it was cause i herd 70s music before and this doesn’t sound like it
actually I would say its timeless. could fit in the 50s, 60s,70s,00s.... The way they did the video has a 1968 vibe. Thinking the Mod Squad.
Heard this song on criminal minds and fell in love
SAME HAHAH
I love how it starts off with the chorus right off the bat
that's when you know this will be an exceptional song
Alternately it could mean the chorus was the hook they came up with and the verses were an afterthought.
Not detracting from the song and thank goodness composing music doesnt require adhering to a fixed formula.
Okay theres one golden rule.
No Yoko Ono.
Also love that there is never a an ad or commercial before it plays. Pretty sure who ever was in charge of posting the video set it up that way. But regardless love the song.
This is a masterwork of a music video. Any filmmaker with a camera two lights/gels and a computer can pull this off, yet you never lose visual interest. It’s so simple it’s genius. You don’t need a giant crew and a ton of money. You just need to stretch your creativity. It probably helps that the song is great too.
agree!
The song that turned me into a Fitz and The Tantrums fan.
I was amazed when I found out all these great songs I was hearing everywhere, in commercials and whatever was this band!
out of my league! is the first song i heard from them n than i became a fan
never heard of them - heard the song on a Santa Cruz Mountain Bike edit - love it. downloaded all the albums now. shows the importance of allowing vloggers to use your music
Me too!
Me too 👏👏👏👌♥️
One of the most underrated groups .
True
Now one of the most overrated groups. Their fukin sellouts
Underrated? The group, maybe. But this song, no. Look at the view count
I agree~
@@rejackzimmerman6165
That's cause we all own the record!
“I don’t pay twice for a…” is one of the greatest lines in rock n roll.
Cheap time whore 😁😁😁🤘🤘🤘
I remember when I first heard this song at Barnes & Noble back in 2011 and was like damn who the hell is this? I brought the CD right then, and played the hell out it in my 2009 Pontiac G6.
US Top 40 radio apperantly ignored this one!
I thought this song was like from the 70's or 80's
They could make a line-up with The Zombies :D
It has that 60's feel. You would see something like that on Hullabaloo or Shindig.
Camryn.leigh
The lead singer, Fitz, was born in the 70s. He said in an interview that 70s and 80s music inspires their music.
Pretty cool.
Im pretty sure that Fitz is around 45
Camryn.leigh you know why you thought That? Because both then and this song are real music.
This does not sound like it is from the 40s! or 50s
This never gets old
Wodchly ikr
Fav band!!!!!!!!
Wodchly 5
Nah nah cuz fr.
100% agree~
I was literally hearing this song on criminal minds. Who else search call back anytime you already got me back?
Can go back in time instantly. Who's here 2022!
I’m here in 2024
I used to listen to this song so much, surprised so many people only heard it from Criminal Minds
Izzie Ley Me too. I remember being up in the wee hours of the morning watching this on VH1 way back one. It does get stuck in my head when I watch that episode of Criminal Minds though.
Same
I met this masterpiece because of Criminal Minds thank god
Yeah so my 3 month old caught sight of this video and now we have to watch it 12 times a day
E poi ci sono io nel 2020 che ascolto questa canzone e mi ricordo tutte le volte che andavo in piscina con mio papà dato che era la sua canzone preferita anche se non sapeva nemmeno una parola.
Niente, mi viene da piangere
One of the best that happened in Criminal Minds.
I agree... and this is coming from someone who *loves* Criminal Minds!
This song is _Pretty Sweet_
+Eniks
What movie is this from?
Thank You so much! You just made my weekend :o)
+jack copley
I was looking for this song too. Glad I found it.
mike mo is a fucking boss
was a sick ass part
I know I'm not the only one who thought this song came out in the 1960s
What a tune 👌 this today song don't even compare to the classics
never heard this song before until I watched an episode of criminal minds. very catchy song :)
The crazy thing is these guys are actually even better live than they are recorded. It's like they draw energy from the audience and convert it into awesome.
Watched criminal minds over and over, can't believe I missed this! But now finally, had to find it instantly! Awesome song!
facts i could really kill to this song
Just paused to Shazam the song
Its 2019. Who still loves this jam?
I am in love with this song. Why can't the music of today sound like this 60's reminiscent masterpiece??? This song is the bomb! :)
God I love this song, such a great Motown vibe. These guys are a treat to watch live as well.
YES! I'm not the only one who thinks "MoneyGrabber" has a Motown vibe! :D
I agree a scent of Motown.
ONLY 4 MILLION VIEWS? SERIOUSLY?
+Maragox Play it more then haha
ONLY 5 MILLION VIEWS? SERIOUSLY?
not sure why despacito is getting 2 billion views. I don't speak Spanish and i have no clue what that song is about as compared to this one.
Reminds me of how much I miss the old Fitz.
Am I the only one who actually discovered this song the year it came out.
+Between_the_Pages What, do you want an award?
+HeyIt'sBaert sorry it just seemed like not many people knew it when it actually came out. No need to be an asshole about it
+Between_the_Pages kinda seems like it! i got the 2013 album back then but i never know about them before
Discovered it in 2011 but idk what yearit came out
I found this song in like 2011 on the VH1 top music video countdown, and I've liked it ever since.
Who remember waking on a Saturday morning, goin on MTV top 25 and this video would come on?
I knew this video looked familiar
MANDY CHEESE GIRL Loo
Lol
+Lloyd TV The memories
damn yes. the good days
Came from criminal minds. This is my new fav song
I saw this band in February of 2020 best concert ever
Probably the last concert you saw
I love this so much. But I hate how much I love it because I've never listened to another song by Fitz and The Tantrums because I've been too busy listening to this one a hundred times on repeat.
LUV it.. Happened to be watching Criminal Minds with the laptop in front of me and had to look up this song. Believe me kids,,, as you get older it gets harder and harder to find new songs you like... :)
" Believe me kids,,, as you get older it gets harder and harder to find new songs you like..."
That's what brought me here too...Glad I found this one.
I had heard this and always thought it was from the 70s, sounds kinda like The Doobie Brothers meets Hall and Oates. I had no idea people were still releasing good music in 2010.
+billionthb That's cause not many are. Today.
+billionthb Doesn't sound anything like them.
Implying sounding like 70s music is the only way to sound "good"
+Fresh Prince of Dalaam he means there's still good music getting commercial play, actual bands with bass players and backup singers, rather than techno pop ruling the airwaves, like katie perry, miley cyrus, etc.
The beginning sounds like the Rolling Stones, Gimme Shelter.
Google helped me find this lovely song that’s been stuck in my head all day!
Criminal Minds brought me here. Why haven't I heard this on the radio?
Same
season 6 Ep 5🫶
Fitz is easily the most aesthetically-pleasing, vocally-sound performer to come along in about a decade. It gets no better than viewing this video. A gorgeous man transporting us back to an era when you had to actually be able to "sing" to get a recording contract. Love it!
I dedicate this song to the IRS. Oh tax season....
Congrats, you almost made me choke on my drink, that's HILARIOUS!
Cracking Up!!
I remember the video being featured on the show Criminal Minds.
Yeah, the one who kills the father in front of morgan?
jeffrey625625 No, no, it's the one with the 13 y.o unsub.
It what got this band on my radar. I can't stop listening to them now... "Thanks baby girl"
this song has an ELO feel to it sounds awesome that's what came to me listening to it
Yeahh.. I agree. The piano intro's kind of reminiscent of "Evil Woman". Both great songs. Similar themes, too.
This just NEVER gets old...Fitz is gorgeous, he is slick, an incredible vocalist, innovative in terms of a new dance, and the best-to-come-along-in-years performer.
It’s funny the strange places you find good music
After 6 years i've finally found it
Mtv The Challenge 👌
Who Comes here from criminal minds "Safe Haven"? 😏
I do, as well
I love the Retro sound of this record...
This song is PRETTY SWEET
I see what you did there
Anyone from 2020 and not criminal minds
i hate to be that guy and 'omg!!!! (...) brought me here!!!!1!1!!!11!') but this was generally one of the best criminal minds openings ove ever seen
ikr
My first Fitz and the Tantrums song, use to hear it on one of the stations we use to listen to on Sirus XM. And possibly my favorite.
Motown meets early 80s MTV. gotta love it. one of my favorite songs
when vh1 and mtv use to play music in the morning
Oh so long ago...
Just heard this for the first time a few weeks ago, and it's fantastic! Shocked to see it came out back in 2010.
Their songs are so powerful, this is why they are one of my favorite bands!
The 516 dislikes are from the MoneyGrabbers.
Who else feels like walking down the street in an 80s suit dancing to this song? Please leave a like.
Randomly remembering this song at 2:30 in the morning.
8:44am 2021 ...
Man, this band feels like a modern day Electric Light Orchestra! I LOVE IT!
So groovy! And yes, it's 2023 and I just discovered this song. Better late than never!
Pretty Sweet brought me here 8 years ago
Best 'Motown' sound I've heard in a long, long time.
Seen them last night. They were incredible.
My 2 favorite colors combined to make a beautiful video. My goodness!
Lembro que ouvi essa música na rádio pela primeira vez, e amo ouvir ela desde então. O ritmo e estilo que lembra uma música antiga, mas tão dançante quanto! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fitz is gorgeous and the most talented vocalist to come to the music scene in awhile. Easy on the ears and easy on the eyes.
This would be awesome on Better Call Saul
ikr, somebody has to show this song to the producers of the show
I get the same exact vibe , omg
Originally heard this song on Mob Wives (2011)???
Remains one of my all time favorites.
RIP Sweet Ang 💞
This song SCREAMS New York!!
Fitz is utterly gorgeous and looks amazing the way he moves, the way he dresses, the attitude he projects. His voice is amazing. No one in recent history looks or sounds better in a video. Fitz has nailed "it" in this video.
I can’t believe you did t get more likes-thanks CZcams-the end is near-I only hope this vibe comes with me in the next life-something drastic is about to happen
I’ve been looking for this song for a very long time. I always thought it was an 70’s or 80’s song
I come back here anytime (yep pun intended hehe) 'cause this song is TOO good. Literally too good.
A 70's look with an 80's sound., So kool!
criminal minds brought me here! :D
Me too, that was a good episode.
Same here!
Me three!!!
Shazam is a wonderful thing... Me four!
me five~ :D
I still love this song so much!
Come back any time!!!!!!!
Gotta love that old school Motown.
This song oddly reminds me of Better Call Saul!
Same!!
Might be because Michael here looks a fuckload like Saul.
for some reason I thought this song was way bigger. When I first saw it on VH1's top videos I thought it was so good, catchy and a lot of fun. Surprised it only has just short of 6 million views. This song got me into F&T
fitz and the tantrums your my favorite band
OMG OMG IT FINALLY HIT THE MILLIONS!!!!!!!! YAY! :D
Mike Mo Capaldi Pretty Sweet
They are working this song and video!!
greatest video editing of all time.
When I first heard this song, I was absolutely blown away due to the fact while being heavily influenced 60s-70s soul music, it was a breath of fresh air. Like old sound with newer production. I listened to the whole album and I loved it. I was like damn this band deserves more recognition.
Then came the second album, Picking up the pieces. Another good album, a deviation from their previous sound but a solid indie pop/rock record. Again it was a whole level better than radio crap we all heard back then.
Then came their third self titled album, for which I was very excited. But it was such a huge disappointment, not only they changed to radio pop but also abandoned everything which made them great. Rich vocals (both Fitz and Noelle as a backup) replaced by heavily processed and auto-tuned crap. Great organs/keyboards and sax sound being a background noise. It was such a travesty.
But I guess that's the direction they want to go in. To this day, they haven't been able to either try or able to recreate the magic of the first two albums.
I as a huge fan of them will always lament the fact they had a great potential, but never reached it. On the other hand, I'm optimistic that maybe one of the albums will have that old magic in it because I know they can do it.
I couldn’t agree more. Those first two albums were phenomenal. Then they turned into a novelty act. A damn shame.
I absolutely love this song! I've had it stuck in my head since I watched you guys on Live From Daryl's House yesterday. Fabulous energy and catchy hooks! Thank you for the great music!
For a 2010 song this sounds like it came right from the 70's! Nice! 📀🎶
A very great song! the band has a lot of energy. heard it years ago, should have heard about this talent.
this is actually 1 of my favorite songs
i've heard this song a million times at work but never loud enough to get the lyrics. after 2 months today i finally got a customer who knew it while it played #LOVEIT!
Damn, still a great song. This is why I never erase histories.
A double-bill of Fitz and the Tantrums with the Afghan Whigs would be awesome
Criminal minds😍👌🏼
I couldn't possibly love this song any more than I do.
Me too! Just started watching the series during covid
Must say, what a stunningly beautiful video.
