The Geezinslaws did something you don't see most "country music" performers do today. They not only performed songs, but they entertained their audiences. If you didn't care for their music, they made you laugh. Sammy you were a classic, and I miss you and Son. It will be a long time before we see people like this in country music. Now it's all flashing lights, lyrics that are hard to understand, loud, distorted, rock, guitars, and smoke on stage to try to make up for the talent the performers lack. How did it ever come to this?

I just want to say l heard Sammy on the Austin Tx. radio station Sam @ Bob 98.5 show around 2001, And then l heard Sammy on the Ralph Emery show and looked to finally see the one and only Sammy All red, ooh la la,ooh la la, ooh la la. ❤️🌍☮️🎶🎵🦜
Have seen a lot of "package" shows when I lived in Toronto and thereby a lot of top artists. But never the Geezinslaws who have always been the country act I would have most loved to see in person. Like Homer & Jethro, a comedy act who were really good musicians!
Sam and Bob in the morning on KVET was classic old school Austin. Call in and and tell them what ya thought and Sammy would respond with some smart arsed answer and the fight fun was on. I met Sammys dad a few times many years ago and he was a classic character. Very nice man

My first memory of Sammy was on KVET, the Big 1300 with Jim Travis!
Ralph Emery has passed in January, 2022. Sam and Son were always some of his favorite performers on his show on TNN..RIP guys.

I was lucky enough to spend the night with him and Son at the Broken Spoke. They both had fun with me. It was the best time I can remember. ☮️
