WEEK IN MY LIFE IN NEW ORLEANS || mardi gras, restaurat recs, travel vlog

Spent the week in New Orleans, Louisiana! My first Mardi Gras experience and first time in this charming city. Lots of parades, eating, drinking, and exploring. It was so much fun getting to see new sites while also staying in a routine reading, working out, and finishing up some styledby things! xx

I grew up about an hour away and it's always so fun to watch people experience New Orleans for the first time! Ghost tours are really fun for a historic background, Bourbon is fun for a night out but be careful, Magazine Street is good for shopping and brunch, the Carousel bar is a must at the Monteleone. You also HAVE to have a beignet, Cafe Du Monde is classic but I prefer Cafe Beignet a few streets over. French Market cafe across from Cafe Du Monde has AMAZING jambalaya, crab legs, gumbo and boudin. :)

That’s such a fun way to spend time with your mom! So cool you got to go and explore while she was at her conference then hang out afterwards. New Orleans is a fun city!
