In the closed hip twist that happens when the lead does the back chasse and the follow the forward chasse, ending in almost Closed Open Facing Position Intimate, after the "1" at the end of the chasse (actually on the "and" after the 1), the follower does the hip twist to the R, just before the follow place a step on the LF.
A Latin dancesport judge will see this twist and often this judge will know that you are setting up your partner for the famous "Opening Out To Fan" in Cha-Cha. This is if the cha-cha heat is in a Closed Bronze syllabus round.

I am still a beginner , i have to ask which of the cha cha types is this?
It is international latin but you can use much of the technique Anna is teaching in our video for American Rhythm as well.
