@@williamsweeney3215 I saw Barry play in person a couple of times he could lost a half-step and still been a beast. Sanders performed even when the entire defense was trying to stop him. The Lions didn't have a team around him so he never won anything. It isn't the RB fault a defense can't stop anyone and it wasn't Brady developing all those elite defenses for the Patriots. Brady not the goat he just a solid QB who found himself in an era where clean living means playing until you are 40 and thanks to a Patriot machine he got more chances than most. History won't remember his as the goat. He just a popular topic

I LOVE this past year of Brady's life. He's gone from "a man with a perfect life who behaves perfectly to the media who is flawless on the field", to "An angry divorced dad with a losing team that got smoked in playoffs they shouldn't have even been in, who drops multiple angry F-bombs at mainstream reporters". 11:50 Tony is by far the best commentator out there right now. Dude is a delight. Is he goofy sometimes? Yeah sure. I prefer that to a guy who is consistently negative to everyone other than his favorite QBs (we all know who that is) or just old men who never say anything interesting. Tony is FUN. I actually get HAPPY when I realize he's the guy commentating a game I'm watching.
It’s all a part of the success cycle. He came on the scene beloved, anytime someone gets praised in sports and there is nowhere else to go (meaning he can’t get promoted, he’s already doing the top job at the network) they begin to get criticized by the people who don’t like hearing all the praise

I feel like if you're on the fence, then you keep playing because once you walk away you can never go back. When I think of big life altering decisions I've made where I'm walking away from something for good it wasn't something I was thinking about casually and weighing the pros and cons. It was a situation where I was fed up and miserable with the status quo and any thought I had in it was simply "Can I make this change? Is it feasible to move on from this?" I remember when David Ortiz retired he mentioned in an interview that the grind of the season was so uncomfortable for him at his age that he just knew he couldn't do it anymore. I imagine for Brady or Rodgers it would only make sense to retire if being a quarterback had become a chore, where there was no fulfillment or pleasure in it at all. Then it wouldn't be much of a decision: "I hate doing this so I'm going to stop."
Can't wait for Brady to kiss his son on the lips again while playing "Baby come back" outside Gisele's house.

I think if the Packers decided to move on from Aaron Rodgers, sure he might retire, but I think he plans on coming back to play. Of course there has to be a team that can make a run into the playoffs, and that needs a QB and be able to pick him up (FA/Trade), but if that spot is there, and Packers move on, then AR is coming back. Honestly Tom Brady is coming back if he can find the right spot, I think he is only coming back to make a run at a ring. Tampa Bay, maybe, maybe not. Las Vegas might be the perfect spot for him.
