It was hardly impulsive. He took the baby to two different places before taking her to the place where he shot her. Those were deliberate actions. He could ave taken her back to her back to her mother at anytime before shooting her.
If he's this much of a danger to the public and a flight risk, why not just remand him to custody? Why set bond at all?
This lady is grasping at straws. Who give a flying f if he's been going to see a pastor in jail. Anybody that confesses to shooting an infant gets no bail

The Judge seems pissed i'd have a hard time being impartial hearing this.
Not once does she mention whether or not that the defendant is sorry for what he did to that baby. The only thing she talks about is how long that he's been in jail

All his age tells me is that, yes, he’s young and immature. More so, the fact that he shot his little baby undoubtedly shows that he can’t control his worst impulses per his temper. He’s a young man who’s absolutely unhinged and can’t control himself. From all those calls the one thing I didn’t catch was if he was even sorry? I heard zero empathy, I heard only blaming and more hate towards others.

The defense attorney that seems like he knows it all, got his analogy wrong. It is called putting your cart before the horse. He wanted to fuss about the trial taking so long, but has not asked for a speedy trial. Glad the judge saw this the states way, that boy is a danger to society.
I have a hard time understanding how a lawyer who may possibly be a mother, defend this guy so passionately. I understand everyone deserves a defense but she was so passionate about his bail, possibly allowing him to get out of jail.
