I bought this style of mirrors from Boost Auto in 2019 for my 06 Duramax LBZ, but yesterday, I clipped my passenger-side mirror, breaking my lower mirror and scuffing up the lower chrome cap and switchback lens. The good news is I can purchase all the parts from Boost, and they all pretty much just snap-in! Thanks again for the walk-thru, and take care!
Dude that looks pretty sick! Definitely on the list of things to do later on. Mostly because my truck isn't lifted enough or has a wide enough stance for it to look good.
Hi guys, I have the same mirror's on my 2010 Toyota Tundra Crew Max Base, I had to wire everything, but all I did for my switchback to work, I looked for my fuse for tail light and use a fuse (15amp) tap for my truck, my turn signal, I ran a wire straight to left turn signal to left side mirror and right turn signal to the right side mirror from the headlights and I grounded the black wire from each mirror to a hard ground on each side by the doors when you run the wire from the door in to your truck or car and for my reverse light I di run it so in reverse they come on the same way boost auto show, and it took me 15- 25 mins for each side the hard part was running the wire from the door into the truck
Help...lol..., Quick question on Mirrors, I see you linked the MostPlus power folding mirror on amazon, did you have the top and bottom painted White or is it a different mirror on your truck? Also, the Switch backs will work with the MostPlus mirrors? Btw Great video and the truck looks great with the white and black matching mirrors.

So my MOSTPLUS mirrors that I bought from Amazon doesn’t have the standard 2 pin for the switch back lights to swap out . They come with a chrome looking switch back turn signal light that is a three pin connectorbehind it. So all in all try to find out what connectors your mirror has before you buy it . I have to stick with what my mirrors came with because of the connector hook up from the mirror to switch back light
I’m not talking about the door harness pins . I bought those from eBay . I’m talking about the mirror wire connector going to the switch back light . My mirrors came with a 3 pin connector not the universal 2 pin connector to swap out lights like you have in your video @ 3:55
So I have a question, I just purchased a 2024 Silverado 2500HD my tow mirrors have no switch lights. Is is possible to add a switchback light to my towing-mirrors.
Clean job! By the way on your DL3 mirrors did it come with the auto dimming like the rear mirror when lights hit it, it dims the driver mirror only? Because I’m wondering if that would matter. Mine has power fold, auto dimming, blinker light, auto adjustable, and the light that turns on underneath when opening the door
It’s been awhile, I ordered the same tow mirror but as the black option, how did you wire/slice into the wires for the flood light and led blinker.. idk if they fixed it to plug and play because it was completely wired into a plug.. it’s the same part number as described in your description
Possibly I’ve seen quite a few sets of these in person and they’re very bright ! The tinted lense ones are not quite as bright as the clear but still very bright
Yes, and my mirrors were taken apart and I Installed switchback lenses you can’t buy them like that. Mine were amber, but if you want amber they are wired the same way.

I tried to do the same thing. Lowes mirror cracked. Could not get it out. You make it seem so easy. Lol
Hahaha I’ve taken many mirrors apart lol. Once you do a few times you find the sweet spot. Just order glass from boost auto

Yes mine had all that including the auto dimming. Doesn’t really matter when switching over to tow mirrors though since they don’t have that option.
