I appreciate your environmental concern as well as your awesome talent
thank you so much Clare!
Loving the gold glitter with the purple â€
Thanks so much!
Oh my gosh this is FABULOUS. Purple is my favorite color, and the seed pod stamp in that gorgeous periwinkle ombré makes me think of hydrangeas (my favorite flower). Love!!
Awe thanks Tracy! Purple has always been one of my favorite colors and I know just what you mean about hydrangeas!
Iâve only just found your channel and I canât believe what Iâve been missing! What a stunning piece you just produced, Iâve subscribed because I donât want to miss anymore!
Welcome Rita! Thank you so much for being here. Im so glad you found me and are enjoying the âTidbitsâ you can also find me on social media to see the collage work that i create with the gel prints! FB: Paper Paintings Collage Artwork, Instagram: Paper Paintings Collage

How funny Rita! you just never know. :) Im glad you enjoyed it
Oooh absolutely gorgeous!!! đ â€ïž I would frame it just as it is!!! đ
Thanks so much!
Love the print! Thank you for the inspiration. Never even thought that you can use glitter on a gel plate!
you are very welcome! you sure CAN! it's a little bit of cleanup with the paper towel and then anything left will just transfer off onto a future print. I love the little bit of sparkle effect in the paper!
Just found you a little bit ago Ms. Elizabeth I have to say you are so inspirational and a great teacher. You keep my adhd mind focused and engaged. Thank you.
Thank you kindly Pamela! Inspiration is a beautiful thing. A focused and engaged mind is a great place to be. Youâre very welcome!
Gorgeous! Iâd love to see some of your completed collage pieces & maybe a tutorial on that.
Hi, I have online workshops, and in person workshops. You can see the schedule and my work on my website: PaperPaintings.com!
Wow ! Loving the purple and glitter, the print would be lovely in a frame ! đđ
Every now and then you make a print that you love enough to want to frame! Thank you
this made my Saturday morning! a gorgeous piece of paper!! I will try using glitter on my gel plate. Thanks for sharing! đ€đđ
Of course you can do it with, or without, glitter. I am so glad you are enjoying making paper on your gel plate. That is quite therapeutic, isnât it?
Extremely therapeutic! đđ§Ą
What a stunning result! Keren Tamir used your stencil in a video today it was also awesome.
you're the second person to tell me that today about Keren, I'll have to have a look!
Wow! Just beautiful.
WOW, wow, wow!! đ„°đ„°đ„°
:) thanks!
Elizabeth, you never disappoint...this turned out awesome, the color combinations, and glitter together are divine. It looked like a frameable work of art to me. Would have a problem tearing THAT one up. Thank you so much. Its always so fun watching you create, and inspiring.
Thank you ILona! I am saving this one so far! Youâre so welcome. đđ
I always love your work! You are so inspiring and always have the best pointers! This is such a beautiful color combination and of course I love the glitter! Keep them coming!
You are so welcome Luci! I appreciate your kind words and encouragement
I'm a card stamper, just starting with gell plate. BUT my saying for cards has always been "If it's not working, it's not sparkly enough ". This pull was stunning!!
Oh thank you Diane! Donât you just love the gel plate? Thank you so much
Howdy, and thanks for sharing your one pull with glitter technique. My friend recommended your video because I'm a bit of a glitter geek. Love the way it came out and the seed stamp and mask are awesome. Blessings & Bubbles...oooOOO
Thanks so much! Glad you found me. :)
CooL đ€ i just put an order w/ joggles & amazon . So excited ... đâŁïžâźïžđ
Thanks so much for your support!
Oohhhh, never thought about using glitter!
Yay! Glitter
I also just found your channel and admit HOW YOU DRESS, YOUR HAIR, YOUR JEWERLY, YOUR VIBE that's me ( when not in severe depression) Do you ALSO make your earrings? CAN YOU DRAW? I can't so I thought I'd try collage ( 2yrs ago- threw out a collection of stuff, not just interested in paper, want to learn mixed media for 3D effect.) Your video on Gustav Klimt stencils popped up and your hair colour was SO cheery, Vivienne Westwood's strawberry, tangerine-blond is MY MOST ADMIRED HAIR COLOUR EVER. I keep old art cards, sigh I miss snail mail - used sealing wax too till Mr. Postmanlady, very Jim Carrey fashion told me off! Anyhow one of my favorite Klimt images is a current fav. bookmark. I can't afford your technique- rice paper, the tools, paints, etc but I love what you do and will subscribe to watch you. I live on a fixed income ie disability pension so Pat. isn't an option. Good luck though. I can imagine you and Gustav and Alphonse Mucha creating chic headbands, tiaras, cloche type hats. I love Mucha's tiaras more than his illustration style art! Meryl Streep's wedding outfit and New Year's Eve stunning dress and tiara, in Out of Africa, pure Mucha. With your talent and love of glitter and your style of dress- you'd fit right in - imagine Paris before WW1, on Rue St. Michelle, made that up, never been there, old song a favorite from a very cool decade, by Peter Sarstedt, Where Do You Go To My Lovely....Namaste, Z.
Thank you so much! I donât make jewelry, but yes I can draw :-) I am a full-time fine artist check out some of my other videos!
Thatâs a fabulous effect. Thank you.
My pleasure!
Beautiful!!!
Thanks Linda! I had fun figuring it out
Stunning đ€©
Thanks so much
Omg gorgeous!!!!!!!
Right? Very royal, purple and gold.
That is an awesome piece, thank you!
My pleasure
Wow, this became gorgeous! Thank you for a great tutorial!!!
you are so welcome! it was fun and I was happy with the results too
Thank you for these Tutorial Tidbits. I always learn so much.
Youâre very welcome Carolyn!
so pretty
Thank you!
That is so beautiful. I love this layers. The addition of glitter is awesome.
Why thank you Alison, I really came up with it through experimentation and was inspired by the glitter that I have been using on the Wizard of Oz series! It gets everywhere and it landed on the gel plate and it was sort of like an aha moment :-)
So much awesome!
Thank you so much Cindy!
Love this. I try not to keep too much glitter around but my arm can easily be twisted. Almost as messy, that I have, is cosmic shimmer gilding flakes. A step between your glitter print and your gold leafing for the background.
Are use metallic leaf for the background as well but I always buy the kind that is on the transfer papers :-) I know all about the glittery Mess!
Fabulous Print!!
Thanks Susan
Amazing print, your videos are packed with great information
Im glad you like them! :)
Awesome. I learned so many techniques. Thanks
My pleasure Debbie thank you for watching

Thanks!
Super résultat .merci
Your welcome!
Quite an awesome pull! I love it just as is...i would have a hard time tearing it up for collage! Tfs!
Every now and then you make one that you donât want to tear up. Eventually I will, but currently it is still intact!
ooh beautiful. I'm going to go try this . . .
Awesome! I hope you have a good results
Gorgeous pull!!! II love your tip on the glitter, I donât use glitter, but I have a ton from card making kits. Now I can responsibly use it up.
Yes, you can responsibly use it up. You can responsibly use it, as well. It just requires some extra effort
As always, Elizabeth, you come through with something beautiful! I intend to include this in a pack of paper I am gifting to a friend who just got a cutting machine. She will LOVE this one, for sure.
oh yes she will love it! how kind of you to share the art love. Thank you Pat.
Thank you for this tid bit such good content!
Iâm so glad, my pleasure !
Nice tutorialđđ
thanks so much for watching!
I love this !! And as someone else mentioned, I would have a VERY hard time tearing this up!!
thank you Chris! Well, if it makes you feel any better... presently it's still in tact! LOL but YES people do create mono prints as finished art for sure. Thanks for taking the time to comment :)
So beautiful. This is my goal, to make gel prints in one fell swoop.
You can do it!
Found you totally by accident. I have a geli pad, but have nt used it yet. Not sure what I am doing. I love the way you explain things. Thank you.
Great! thanks for being here.
Excellent once again :-)
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much
What fun!
Thanks!!
As predicted, I loved it! I have never tried glitter on my gel plate before but now I will. It is messy so I need to mentally prepare for that, lol. Dry Swiffer sheets are great for grabbing glitter and other rogue bits, btw. Have a lovely and creative weekend! Iâm planning to do some gel printing, ribbon dyeing, and baking.
Yes itâ messy for sure, but what a pretty effect. Mental preparedness is essential !
Sounds like a nice weekend Debs!
Wonderful tutorial. Thank you for sharing. New subscriber.
Welcome Dorothy! Happy to have you here.
Loving it. Not a huge glitter fan. I use it in moderation.
Moderation is key! I went easy with it
Wow!
Fun!
Awesome
Some of my favorite colors! Thanks Debra
That is gorgeous! I will say, it looks cells seen under a microscope. Oops, too much science study today. : ) Thanks for a great tutorial.
It has been forever since I have looked at cells under a microscope, but I think I could see that :-)
Would make a beautiful scarf.
It would! Thank you Lisa
I love me some sparkle.
Me too Susan!!
If you were going to make a card, how would you affix the rice paper to the cardstock I love your demos.
I don't, when I make cards I print directly onto the card stock. :)
I have trouble with that Sketch pad rice paper sticking to my plate. Yes, I use the smooth side. First time I pull using it at the beginning of a session, it does fine. Every time after, it sticks. The other brand in the 80 sheet pack does better for me.
Whatever works for you is best! I would say if itâs sticking, You need to use more paint. I only have a problem with it sticking once in a blue moon but overall itâs my absolute favorite rice paper for the plate.
Fabulous tutorial! love the addition of the glitter. Does it stay on the print tho? Or does it flake off a little?
Fir my purposes using the paper for collage, it will be encapsulated in gel medium and it will stay. Right now itâs very well adhered into the binder of the dried acrylic, which is like glue.
@@ElizabethStHilaire awesome - thanx for the reply
@@theresacreativestudio SURE my pleasure
Beautiful --- Just like you :0)
Awe youâre too kind. Thank you
I love the way glitter looks in gel prints, but not such a big fan of finding it on my face or in my clothes months after I last used it... I swear the stuff gets into EVERYTHING and refuses to leave lol. Have you tried the biodegradable glitter by Hero Arts and other companies? I'm trying to use up what I have and then switch to the biodegradable glitter in the few colors I use most. Thank you for another wonderful tutorial!
Hi Sarina, I've got a new product for glitter that's suspended in gel medium so it does not end up anywhere as it is not loose! Stickles Glitter Gel. shrsl.com/3cd30 shrsl.com/3d6ni
@@ElizabethStHilaire I already bought a few jars of the stuff and I love it!! In fact, it inspired me to mix loose glitter with gel medium and use it as a paint now instead of dry. Totally worth the extra step since there's no chance of the glitter flaking off even after the project is complete, and it's no longer finding its way into my clothes and hair (or my husband's beard :P).
@@sarinaparhawk exactly! I love that stuff too because of the variety of shapes and sizes and colors of glitter that they incorporate into the gel. But I certainly have tons of Glitter hear that I could do the same with!
Hello Gorgeous - I just got the rice paper I ordered from Amazon AND it looks exactly like the stuff you use except thereâs no âSumi-eâ on the pkg. Otherwise identical. Sound like the right stuff? Thanks For your time đ
Hey Lynn, I somehow totally missed this comment. I think recently they change the cover of the pad and it is the same thing
What roll of paper do you use sometimes? I cannot find a rice paper in your amazon shop that is on a roll.
There are two rolls of rice paper in my Amazon shop under the paper category
@@ElizabethStHilaire Thank you, it said Washi/Hosho paper so I did not know if that was the same as the rice paper.
@@eagercrafter_9014 rice paper has many names :)
@@eagercrafter_9014 Yes, rice paper comes in many forms!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
