With all due respect, would like to correct a few things which Shivam said in this podcast:-
1) it takes approximately 3 to 3.15 hours to reach almaty from Delhi not 1.5 or 2 hours as mentioned by shivam in this video
2) Astana is way colder than Almaty in winters (Shivam mentioned that's it's the other way round) due to its geographical location in the north whereas Almaty is situated in the south side of the country.
3) talking and hanging around with a local girl:- i did not attract any angry local because of that.. it might be a rare case were u experienced this.
4) I was there for 6 days in November 2023, did not faced even a single incident were i faced racism for being an Indian. Infact people were really respectful after knowing that I'm from India. Thanks to bollywood 😬
5) got a really good deal for sim card with talktime and Internet at the airport. Even currency exchange (USD to Tenge) at airport gave a really good rate which I couldn't get in the city.
I was there for almost a year, didn't face any single incident of racism or attract any hatred or rudeness wherever I roamed with a Kazakhstan girl
