Thank you for sharing this. I’ve only known Penarth since I first visited there in 1995 and I have loved the place ever since. It was really nice to go back and see what it was like there back in simpler times.
Great times in fifties and sixties, I wish I could go back, not to my life but to the atmosphere of living in a close community. I would move back tomorrow if I could.
Some great stuff there. Loved seeing the Paddle Steamer 'Cardiff Queen', that motor rally looked a but risky though!
