I remember playing contra Mario mighty final fight and snes bootleg alladin. As time passes when i saw modern nes style games it feels like it takes back in time to me 😀.
I like how the final boss kind of explains how your veteran knight brother got obliterated by a single skeleton. Those shapeshifting guys with Belzed took a ton of hits, and all of them took the skeleton form at least once. Could be they took an unassuming form to lull him into a false sense of security, or something. I'm kind of reaching, but still.

There are lots of fun ways to fight the enemies in this game. My favourite method is to spam the Flying Kick attack, which you get at Level 5, which lets you kick enemies while flying on the diagonal towards the ground. You can even pull off several of them in a row in quick succession!
This game came out after the SNES, so sadly it was overlooked by many and was never considered a classic... it is to me though. One of my favorite 2d side scrollers ever.

great music with intresting game play. love the kicking etc. needs a proper remake with more Kick boxing/ savate/ taekwondo or even Muai ti. its a martial art form based on mostly kicks so that can describe a lot.
I love this game, it has an amazing soundtrack and really cool looking sprites, the game is pretty fair in difficulty until the last level with all the bottomless pits caused by the screen moving up and the rain of bubbles... also some of the moves you unlock later have messy hitboxes sometimes.
I still remember when I got to the last stage using only basic moves and magics. Then my cousins showed me advanced moves, and I was like WTF! Great game
Strange, but the characters walking animation and the sprite when he walks almost looks eerily familiar to the Castlevania Character from the Arcade Haunted Castle
Man, I remember playing this all day and beating the up to 7 times in a sitting. Boy oh boy, did my mom give me an ass chewing. Only reason I played it that much was to see the different dialogue in the endings.
I like to think the main character of this game took his brother's metal boots and used em throughout the entire game when he kicks throughout the game.
My dad always taught me that bullies only respect strength, talking it out won't work, so get underneath them and kick straight upwards. Kids these days don't get told that and it shows
As soon as sector six began, I wondered if the game had been taken over by Konami. STRONG resemblance of the music to "Bloody Tears" from Castlevania II.
In my nes version there was a glitch when you lost last life in this dragon boss in sector 3 you can continue from sector 1 with stats you have before. The same with the same boss in last level transport you to sector 4 or 5. That way you can grind stats and easy beat the game. In emulator it doesnt work.
This is one of my fav game of chaildhood i still have on my mobile bt can't play like how i played on nes consol i tried lot to gain player helth bt nothinh hapen on i don't know how it was working on that consol

This game teaches you a good lesson my friend, not only choose your battles wisely, but also your rewards
levelling up gives you a slide kick that makes it easy to accidentally fly off platforms and kill yourself in the last level
He's not good on collecting items. A jump following a knee drop usually guarantee at least 2.

So the strategy of this game is "slide under the enemy and kick them up in the air constantly" :D
Probably the first example of juggling in games.
There are lots of fun ways to fight the enemies in this game.

Best game I played, I died a lot in this game. The game play and music though are the best,! even up to now.
The graphics and gameplay in Kick Master were reminiscent of Taxan's Low G Man: The Low Gravity Man and G.I. Joe.
