Glad Deer Tick is back in RI.
Some bands kill it for 5 or 10 years and then start to repeat themselves or stink, but not Deer Tick. This band is aging like a fine wine, and has been my favorite band to see live for over a decade.

Deer Tick is the bees knees. Profound songwriters, topnotch musicians and stellar live show. We saw them on the never-ending Providence tour in San Antonio back in the day, it was wild. They already had War Elephant, Black Dirt Sessions, Born on Flag Day and Divine Providence- all great albums and songs so live they were tight and explosive and John was incredibly deep, funny and heartbreaking depending on the song and every member sang their songs and they played a few Nirvana covers and got the crowd moshing. A group of us have tickets for the Mohawk in Austin in Oct. We ordered an advanced copy of the EC. So excited!
