Thankyou for the lovely videos ,, I actually tried painting this one from memory on a small 8” by 10” piece of oil paper yesterday , and although it looks a bit comical compared and I don’t have the same colours I compromised and ended up with something that’s very pleasing to my eye having learnt enough to change and apply your teaching to my next plein air adventure as and when it warms up here to paint out 👍👍🎨

Why do you use artist's turpentine for the wash instead of using Gamsol for the wash?
Thank you for watching! I like the faster dry time and the wash effects a little better with turps - slight differences the I can probably learn to live without
