The devs don't always get to decide what content they make. They also do this to let the animators work on what they need to so these familiar weapons have the same animations to make way for new ones in other firearms

I remember the ORIGINAL splinter cell game even had this guns mechanics down Pat. Brass didn’t start “ejecting” (falling) until the 3rd or 4th round, and then when there was a mag change, any additional rounds that were in the brass pipe tumbled out.

Reminded me immediately of BF2042 beta. In the beta the character grips the AK-12 like so but aiming will move the thumb to avoid obstructions.

This is an unbelievably important question: did sledgehammer add the F2000's built-in scope?
That F2000 uses 60rd mag appearance but it only holds 30rd by standard. That was a stupid design
The mag is also inserted too short to reach the chamber.

The F2000 magically phases shells through the side of the weapon housing instead of properly ejecting them. I fucking hate this game so much.
Meanwhile an indie game that is so low poly, that features the F2000, actually ejects its casings properly.
