  • This video shows the difference between a Bosch rebuilt injector versus a competitor's rebuilt injector. Bosch is by far, the superior choice when it comes to quality.

Bosch forgot to mention that they have their fair share of bad new injectors themselves...

Don't make the Bosch corporation richer. They shouldn't charge ridiculous prices for their products.

Right? It's ridiculous. $2000 minimum if they accept all of your cores.

I assume they charge more because the spent the money to design and produce them. Also they will be the ones who invest in P&D for newer engines.

While I have the highest opinion of Bosch engineering, I would like to know the company's position on why injectors in the Duramax LB7 failed. Thanks.

Went through 3 of you reman alternators before your 3rd one burnt the car down. You expect me to think you can rebuild an injector?

@Sam S The garage that installed it double check everything. 1st bosch alt. stopped charging in a day. 2nd alt. started killing the battery after 3 weeks. 1 week after the 3rd alt. was installed the car cought fire. We were able to put it out......it was the Alt. while sitting in a parking lot for a few days.

So if bosch works so closely with engine manufactures why did common rail dodge cummins come from factory with fuel filters not rated to keep the injectors from wearing out at
    90 thousand miles. Or sooner?
It's either bosch or dodge becuase Cummins specs their filters on 5.9s
They should list the parameters both oem specs, and remaned.
They should list remaned injectors builders and specs.
Just saying oem tolerances doesn't mean jack

Hi Dave. Thanks for reaching out. The engine/vehicle OEM is responsible for the selection of filter rating for a specific application. Questions regarding the filtration on the Dodge 2500/3500 with a Cummins 5.9L engine, should be directed to Fiat Chrysler or RAM Trucks service group.

@@BoschAutoNA OK, thanks for the reply! And I figured as much!
I mean it wouldn't matter much trying to fight with oem on it ! But this is piece of mind that at least new bosch injectors with proper filtration will help me from spending 3grand in injectors every 130 thousand miles.

Give DFW Injector a call (800) 291-6050. They Reman all the 5.9 Cummins using new Bosch valves, nozzles seals springs Etc. Injectors are calibrated using a (C.A.R.S) Computer Assisted Repair Station & flow tested on an in house state of the art flow bench.
Stock reman 5.9 Cummins injectors $995.
Your choice Performance 50hp or 100hp over stock 5.9 Cummins injectors - $1250.00 (no other modifications needed).
Also, offer other types of Reman injectors such as Duramax, powerstroke & other Cummins.

This is bullshit. Not all rebuilders are equal for sure but some rebuilders do a great job and exceed Bosch standards.
