How people find this surprising is beyond me. It was only inevitable with the rise of internet shopping and commerce.

The eyes don't lie! This is so frightening to see. I was shocked to see the massive outlets at Stateline Nevada completely abandoned.
Yes state line didn't last long. Also Barstow built a lot of outdoor malls and most of it is abandoned.
Wow I had no idea it was booming 90s to early 2004 when I moved from there

I know our host has done videos on malls before and I know some people thought I was crazy but I miss the malls. I especially liked them at Christmas time.
I remember how the malls used to be open late on Black Friday. Shopping deals was like a party. No more.
Bring back the town center where people socialize and buy what they need. Itâs healthy for a culture to encourage togetherness. Malls were fun. Shopping was fun. Bigger isnât always better. Simplicity needs to come back. We are not a happier society. We are unhealthier if we encourage solitude and isolation.

Politicians are still living well
JB, you can't get more desolate than a mall like this, I can imagine what the property taxes are like on this complex!!
Instead of buying a car at sixty thousand dollars you buy a used car at five thousand dollars and if you need to do repairs you still have fifty five thousand dollars for repairs which it never will happen.
The thing is , a 5000$ dollar car is now 15000$
That still leaves 45 K for repairs...People are too lazy to even get dirty+ change their own oil....đ
I'm totally surprised it's not full of homeless people
Unfortunately, if those rascals see this video, it just might. Next year, people will GateKeep their resources and be Mum about it.

America.
They are getting more and more desperate and they only exist because of the USA .
If I hit the lottery. I still wouldn't pay 80k for a new vehicle.
Newsom would love to rent that mall on the taxpayers dime and have one of his non-profit buddies convert the place into housing for the homeless.
Then create rules the homeless can't abide to keep it empty.
He's such a pile of crap.
Before it was a shortage of chips for vehicles. Now interest rates are too high. One excuse after another.
Nobody is buying anything. Survival mode.
Why are the doors open? Wow...
There has to be a way to repurpose these buildings and converted into affordable housing. Whoever can figure this out will be very wealthy and loved.

Employees are the ones running out customers. Customer service is dead!!! I personally stopped going to malls, Walmart, target, etc bcuz of this. You get treated like a criminal instead of being greeted with a smile. Bcuz of this I opt for online shopping. No more angry store owners.
Sad to see shopping malls go dead like this, true cause is greed, both from landlords and local governments who tax the crap out of businesses and people...
The final tally from lockdowns will be massive.
200,000 small businesses and counting, so sad and uncalled for.
