Mike Looney MMS Track Championship Interview - September 7th, 2019

On September 7th, 2019, Mike Looney capped a storybook season with a sweep of the A-1 Heating & Cooling TWIN 50s presented by Pine Ridge Nursery. Looney parlayed a 12-win season into a mammoth 295-point advantage in the Late Model division standings to score his first-career Late Model track championship. Awesome . I don’t know this man personally but it seemed he was an underdog when I seen him race at South Boston speedway and the big shoot out at martinsville. I would always root for him. It was awesome to see him win at martinsville and to beat lee pulliam . Pulliam use to race for a company I worked for so I would always root for him to . I know for mike to hang with pulliam, sellers , Morris that he is a talented driver. I hated to see him leave South Boston speedway but happy for his victory at motor mile . Best of luck Mike
