Somehow, it seems the weapons shields don't work on the Scorpion and Typhon. But they seem to work fine on the Angler and Skyros for example. A little werid. Balacing wise: If this is supposed to do damage, then maybe the shields are too strong for it. But if it's primarily just a shield (like a modern version of the old Ancile Shield that we could really well use here today) then it's fine with the shield energy. ANd the weapon gives you something to do in the meantime - unlike Ancile where there's really no reason to aim at the enemy or anything like that. This "weapon" may be a shield but gives you a tiny reason to shoot the enemy dealing a little damage to him. This would seem ok, too. I just hope it doesn't become an actual damage-dealing weapon. Becausae then - imagine how a Scorpion or Angler or Skyros would be in battle.
Don't worry, pixonic will make them insane on the live server. BTW I'm Still waiting for your ares video!
If this is what they're suposed to be, then i see a combo of Sonic weapons and these becoming real.
Also we can see a super shield Erebus but it actually does good damage!
For some reason I’m noticing that if you are close there’s no damage but like are 50 meters or farther I started to see the damage but my pov

I think the weapon is meant to be not that strong as balance for the shields. Probably works better mixing it with powerful weapons.
These weapons are the weirdest weapons but it’s good having one of them for the shield
I mean that main use for this weapon is for it shield and not for dmg. TBH i think it will be better if that weapon not "shooting" enemy, but deal 50m area explotion, 10k dmg, 12 second reload time, and knockback the enemy for 50m.
If they keep this as primarily a shield, I actually think its a very good addition and could promote some interesting builds. And like Manni said, since you need to still fire them they are still engaging to play. They could even do a little more damage and it would be ok, but for gods sake pixonic don't go overboard with that
I see it working well on fast beacon cappers that mostly need to survive and who's firepower is secondary

I haven't understood how that weapon works, 100 mt really sucks 200 would be ok... What i found OP is that new drone, I had a great run with Orochi/Redeemer and this drone. every time you killed a robot you get speed increased. It was so fun
when I first saw the weapons I thought these were a sniper weapons just like spear weapons but I was wrong. but they'll probably change it to sniper weapons or make them more buffed like crazy

Maybe push and hold the fire button? Also what are the red lines in the sky that appear every once in a while? Possible test server glitch or related to the harpoon?
If you look closely there is no hitmarker over the cross hair when it is fired, it doesn't even have a hitbox

Honestly the way this weapon is designed I see it as nothing more than a different ancile that protects from energy weapons as well. If this weapon is intended to do so little damage at such a short range it may as well not do any damage at all and should have just been named Aegis.

Just imagine a good Shield on the strider. Harpoon and boost effect, you could jump on bots like the scorpion. Just quicker

i recon that because these new weapons are close range, they should have like the shield exactly like mars/typhoon/skyros because its a close range weapon and people could just walk right in the shield
I think the idea of these weapons is the shield only activates once you get into the weapon range because it's supposed to be the definition of brawling. I also think these weapons might be the strongest brawlers in the game due to the 100-meter range not many weapons have this range hence the aegis shield helps u get into range. Just like other weapons Pixonic released and did not take their time it was very buggy.
I think the light and medium version is bugged and cant deal any damage for now but for some reason the heavy version seems to work completely fine

You see in the description it reloads 2280 damage per second and maximum damage is 12 369 it’s all in the description Manni

Honestly, this weapon will flop completely if its mechanic work in that way. There is almost zero damage and stealing shields is not working properly.

When this weapon is officially working i think when u deal DMG u regenerate Aegis Shield and that shield is based on DMG dealt. Another cancer OP weapon lets find out soon. If this is the case then Shield Breaker will be valuable choice to counter it.
weapon has no rope. but still just on test server,so..time enough to become real war robots evolution.
I cant pass the part were it says... : "capture 5 beacons at least in 3 games" I only did it once.. i continue to capture 5 to 7 beacons per game and nada.

I know certain weaps in certain situations are useful,but of course pix need to bring out stronger weaps and bots to keep the money rolling...I mean who wants to buy a weapon when you already have better ones already..it's sad rip-off but true..
manni these weapons to me they do not convince me apart from the tests you are doing I do not see them destructive enough not even the new gold who I like boh they will be tests we will see how things evolve⚡⚡👍
Anyways for the people who spend on this game max out a hangar and drop to 1000 trophies. We dont need higher league rewards we can pay for any of that. So dropping will do us a huge favor letting ys fight entire teams that wont even get our robots to half hp.
what is this weapon? We need new maps , Manni can you ask for it to pixonic to design some new maps , new bots and weapons are really not that interesting, I really get bored because of the new bots and weapons in every update.
