Just got one for my mom. Now she can also facetime/whatsapp myself and my brother and her niece. Perfect size and easy to navigate. She now also can check weather, emails, store coupons and more things.
just get her an andriod than this piece of trash iphone it looks like it came out from 2015
The battery isn't gonna be ideal for her so a newer iPhone or an Android phone will do good

I had this for a short time before I got the 3rd gen and it runs very good for its age, I rarely noticed any performance differences compared to my 15 unless they are side by side
my little SE2 still working fine! just changed itd battery. will definitely last another 2 years

This was my 1st iPhone and I didn't think it was gonna turn me out lol boy was I in for a surprise. The premium feel and experience tht apple gives it's users is a feeling you can't replicate. The smoothness from the iOS is superb and mind you I switched from a 6.3 display LG stylo5 from there I realized I couldn't go back to Android. Only downsides of this phone is small battery and display other than that it's perfect. On top of tht starting with the home button made me appreciate my iPhone11 tht God blessed me with. This phone was outdated the day it was out, I wouldn't swap even my old S20FE for that.

I love the SE ‘20. I have it in black. I love the small form factor that gets the job done. I love the home button/ Touch ID. It’s small, simple and light weight. The battery lasts me quite a long time I don’t have social media or play games. I am a low key smartphone user. No socials, no games. Runs the latest iOS. I’m chillin’ like a villain. It gets the job done for me.
i have the device i bought it after a couple months of release back in 2020, i already replaced the battery last year and still i didn't feel a difference because even a new battery still too weak for this phone, the only reason i would change my iphone is the battery, not the screen not the performance not the camera but it's the god damn battery

i mean, you could, but it will be a little bit slow, and you will need to be plugged into a charger constantly. But hey, it’s doable! Start tech content with what you got and go from there 😉

I just a got a new se 2 gen last month . I like the fingerprint unlock vs face unlock
fingerprint unlock definitely has its perks
The SE 2 and 3, Xr and 11 are still really important for the 10% of people who can’t use OLED due to PWM. Disappointing the SE 4 is getting OLED.
As to the SE 2 and 3 I recommend a battery case, plus the free apps Focos and NeuralCam to update the missing camera modes. You can get a MagSafe sticker or case to give you MagSafe ability.

I have iphone se2020 it's running ios 13.5. Should I update it to ios 17. I'm really scared that if I do it will degrade the battery life.
I'm on 17.4.1, and mine works fine. My battery has 850+ cycles but is still usable even on iOS 17. I would say iOS 17 is really well optimized
You should update to ios 15e or 16 . but the best 15
@@suttttts unfortunately that's not possible. apple doesn't sign 15 or 16. you can either stay on 13.5 or go to the latest

@@JoeyMe I think there are some animation issues in 17.4.1. For example, there is a lag in the screen brightness bar in the control center during use. It was working perfectly on iOS 16.
Watching this on SE 2. Except for the battery life I would say this is a great phone.
It was outdated the day it was out, even my $80 S20FE is miles ahead screen and camera wise.

@@666marqThen it obviously isn’t for someone like you. I also thought it was outdated until I got one and realized I love the form factor over my 15. The se is for people who don’t want to pay an arm and leg for the latest chip. Btw the s20 fe was $699 when it first came out, this one was $400.
@@jonacru1178 I only tryna tell people they can have more for less, and we're talking about used ones. But i know there's no other option for fanboys having no money for real iPhone. Being broke doesn't mean you are forced to use such old tech. This is overpriced for what it offers. That's what I meant comparing it to s20fe or any other few yo android flagship/subflagship.
the battery and heat generation is what I hate the most about this phone. got it on launch due to the build quality and size, the performance also still holds up to date but the battery is an actual crutch and i hate that. will be switching to android soon but keeping it as a backup, probably till the day it dies as i legit just love the form factor that much.
yeah the battery life on the SE2020 can be a bit of a letdown... have you considered checking out SE2022?

$150 is a ripoff for a used SE2. I just bought a new in box iPhone SE 3 for $150 at Walmart.

@@JoeyMe Nope they unlock them 60 days after purchase so mines unlocked now. Either way SE3 Is the better choice. You don’t have to just get Verizon either. Pretty much all carriers are running $150 deals on the SE3 now.
