A few things I want to say:
1. The lighting is *chefs kiss*
2. Even tho season one makes heavy references, this carried it ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO THE MOST RECENT LORE (aside from the stuff that happened like 2 days ago) and NEVER FAILS to make the story fit with the song PERFECTLY
3. In true DSMP fashion, it portrays EVERYONE as the main character
4. Did I mention the lighting?
5. EPIC CHARACTER DESIGNS
6. FANTASTIC STORYBOARD
7. SEAMLESS SCENE CHANGES
8. This is freaking SEVEN MINUTES LONG and ONE person (to the best of my knowledge) did the WHOLE THING. (For perspective, it takes me about two months or so to poorly “animate” about a minute and a half. It takes some serious guts, patience, and work to even ATTEMPT something this big)
9. 99% of viewers aren’t subscribed so if you’re that 1% go tell everyone to subscribe
10. Have I mentioned the art enough times yet?
11. Oh also eret (that’s eret right?) being burr in the intro just was really cool cuz he’s going to betray them later, which is similar (but not really) to burr shooting Hamilton. They’re not similar at all but they somehow have the same vibe. AND THIS HAPPENS REPEATEDLY. Like HOW?!?! Wilbur doin the “who lives who dies who tells your story” does the same thing. And the schyler sisters does the same thing too. I literally was getting chills at some points. And ranboo at “say no to this”. HOW?!?!

There were some songs that I was wondering how you would make them work, but every song hits perfectly. I was slightly worried about how Say No To This would happen but it was probably my favorite bit (that and Helpless)

-Wilbur and wait for it while in Pogtopia is amazing, I love the idea of Wilbur being like 'I'm willing to wait for those who have wronged us to pay' or something like that
-'it's the 10 duel commandments' being said as soon as Wilbur presses the button
-That would be enough playing while Phil is having flashbacks once he stabs Wilbur
-Techno rapping Lafayette's bit in guns and ships - I am literally imagining him singing the whole thing now
-Tubbo singing Washington's bit in guns and ships during the lead up to the exile

This is a really good matchup, with the storylines, the characters, events, etc.
And I especially love that dream is king George, because they both have motivations along the lines of “why can’t it be the way it used to?” And obviously their motivations are different in other ways, but I think it’s still a really great character match up.

Literally so so many details to call out that every single lyric was so clever and well put together, Puffy with foolish at the Red Banquet AHHH the ending of everyone having their perfect fit lines, and every character in the lore getting their own time to really hit all the bases is so incredible. Cannot praise this enough!! I wish I had a team of cosplayers for everyone or I would absolutely help direct this in person to bring this to life!!!

The rap bit with Techno was my favorite part. It was all so amazing and emotional! And the bit where Karl pops up and asks what he missed was both accurate and good for comedic relief.
As a theatre kid it was harder not to appreciate the drawings than to not sing the lyrics
