A legend passed away last year today...RIP Bud Spencer - Loved your movies all the way in South Africa.
Would wake up as a child with the smell of beans in the air at 2am. I would creep downstairs and my parents would be watching the film, eating beans and laughing their heads off. I would fall asleep on their lap, and would always wake up for the fight at the end. Love this film forever

Awesome if you know this song before Django Unchained came out in the theaters which makes you Italian. Even if you're not, you are still awesome.
Whats even more awesome is that people like Quentin Tarantino with original ideas is referencing an Italian Western theme song with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill (One of the best duos in Italian Movies Ever) in his newest movie, Django Unchained, so now the new generation can go back to the original classic where the song originated from.
If Django Unchained didn't come out not many people will come and watch this video to listen to this awesome song.

I grew up with my dad watching this and when I first watched Django Unchained I whistled the whole song and my partner had no idea how I knew it. Gave me shivers to hear it again after so many years 😅
It's funny how I recognized this as I watched Django again. Terence Hill and Bud Spencer were some of my greatest childhood Heroes, I saw their movies hundreds of times. I haven't seen one in years, somehow I just didn't find myself to watch one. Definitely going to watch some again

Definitiv. Man denke nur mal an den kulturellen Einfluss, den dieser Film hat. Als der Song am Ende von "Django Unchained" kam, hab ich nur grinsend dagesessen und Gänsehaut verspürt. Auch Eastwoods Western sind später noch mehr in humoristische Gefilde gewandert, nachdem Leone & Barboni und co. den Weg für ironische Western geebnet haben. Werde nie vergessen, wie ich Bud Spencer live gesehen und er mir sein Autogramm gegeben hat. Eine Chance, die ich mir glücklicherweise nicht habe entgehen lassen. Er war eine Legende.

@@mrblonde609 na ja eigentlich haben wir die homoristischen Einlagen in den Filmen den Schreibern der synkron Texten zu verdanken.
Es gibt einige hill und spencer filme die in 2 deutschen synkros existieren 1 mal in lustig und einmal ernst.
Ein Beispiel :
"Der dicke und das warzenschwein" (lustige synkro )
"Sie verkaufen den Tod" (ernste synkro)
Der selbe Schnitt des Filmes 2 Versionen.
Aber hill spricht und versteht deutsch und es sagte mal die lustigen synkros würden ihm sehr gefallen.

One of the great comedy westerns that few are aware of - but Q Tarantino was aware and wrapped Django Unchained with this very colorful, classic theme song. It was a real treat to see D.U. end with the Trinity theme!! Of course, QT has great music tastes and uses a lot of great, old songs in most of his films... And the cow on the roof i suspect the Coen Bros copied in O Brother Where Art Thou. Love those Coen Bros films!!

Only few were aware before QT put it in the DJ? in the US yes but not in the rest of the world. Definitely not! And I don't like QT taking music from great movies, But he is clever and yes he has a wonderful taste for movies and music.
