I’m a little confused, and God said let us make man. Wasn’t this statement a reference to the Trinity? For example: Gen 11:7 “The lord said, let us go down and confuse them” another reference to the Trinity. It was after God said, “let us make man in our own image” He created Man/Adam and not before he made that statement.
Why did God create the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Is there any teaching on thi s by Psator John. And I also want to if there is any teaching on Origin of Sin/Satan?
He created two specific fruit trees (one has obedience written all over it, and one has disobedience written all over it so to speak ) and he gave them a choice. Behold look, I set before you life and death, good and evil says the scripture, choose life. Humans are not robots; we’ve been given a choice from the beginning.
The tree of life may not be an ordinary tree, Adam lived over 900 years methuselah lived 969 from the residue from the tree of life, God said had they remained in the Garden and continued to eat that fruit, they would’ve lived forever In sin. remember this happened after Adam was cast out of the Garden. The tree of life will once again flourish in the garden of Eden, New Jerusalem Revelation 22:1-5
