Northrop F5-E Tiger II USAF 🛩️ Testing at Swiss Air Force (1974)

How good is the F5-E Tiger II from USAF in the Swiss Alps? How do take-offs and landings at the airfields in the mountains succeed ? ...is it capable of turning sufficiently and accurately? ... and does it actually serve the requirements of space protection?
These questions will be answered during intensive tests (flight maneuvers, shooting, go-around, take-off) in 1974 with two Northrop F5 Tiger jets from the United States Air Force at Emmen Airfield, Switzerland

Supervideo, vielen Dank. Habe 1984 die zweite Serie in Emmen montiert und war Mechaniker bei den Fliegertruppen wie das damals noch hiess. Das rückwärts einfahren in die Kaverne habe ich so noch nie gesehen.
