DX5 playing New Order "Blue Monday" (Wonder Woman 84 arrangement version)

I was up to revisite this instrumental cover I've already made twice in the past. As I liked the arrangements for the upcoming Wonder Woman 84 movie OST (Hans Zimmer team), I decided to play New Order's "Blue Monday" again, building a backtrack more faithful to the studio version in combination with some of the OST arrangements.
Gear used:
Roland MRS-2 Promars
Emu Emax II (massively)
Kurzweil PC1x (With its mighty strings)
Roland JP8000.
No sample from the original song were used. (Just Kraftwerk's "Uranium" choir).
Backtrack previously recorded from scratch (sound to sound) on Pro Tools. Lead sound: Roland JP8000.
Original song composed by Gillian Gilbert, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris, Bernard Sumner.

Its weird but cool to see that SDTV resolution and 4:3 screen ratio on CZcams in 2019
When people updated to 4k, I decided to stay. And so I do :)
@@DX5 Maybe you should try to find VHS or other type of analog camcorder for making vids?
I recorded my 2017 new year celebration on VHS, looks amazing, like its 1997 or so

@@DX5 how do you add the audio track to the video? Do you record the sound in a PC and unite it with a video track? Or is there a "microphone in" on the camcorder connected to a mixer board?

Now this is brilliant. I actually had no idea or forgetten Blue Monday was featured in Wonder Woman 1984, since I never watched but might have seen the trailer. Anyway, this is great! Blue Monday added with orchestra at parts. Nice!
I think the movie had some releasing issues and has been released simultaneously on streaming, as the Covid pandemic started almost at the same time iirc.

wonderfull. it made me look at the roland JP 8000 to fullfill my collection of vintage synths
It is very versatile. The pre recorded Blue Monday distinctive lead sound is the JP8000 too.

Fun Fact: "Blue Monday" is a song by the British rock band New Order. It was released as a 12-inch single on 7 March 1983 through Factory Records and later as a 7-inch single through Tonpress in 1
Substance was a compilation album. Blue Monday was released in 1983 as a 12 inch single. During 1983, New Order released Power, Corruption & Lies but this track was not included in that album or the subsequent 1985 album Low Life. These were the best years of British new wave movement with great bands including DM, OMD, Duran Duran, Culture Club, Flock of Seagulls, Yazoo etc.. best era for 12 inch mixes.

It was a Kurzweil guitar sample being processed by some VST's to get that Hook sound.

Lepsza wersja od oryginalu :) Nie ma sensu opracowywac 1 do 1, trzeba rozbudowywac, wzbogacac linie melodyczna, to jedyna, wlasciwa droga dla muzyka-kompozytora. Nie zaszkodzi podbijanie dynamiki i basow ;) Tamte utwory miewaly linie melodyczna, ktora mozna zagrac jednym palcem, za to przebojowa, a cala reszta mniam mniam do dzisiaj. Obecnie coraz mniej fajnych utworow, przebojow, kto je zapamieta za kilka lat, a za 40 i 70? Ciagle zyjemy piosenkami, utworami z lat 60, ktore miewaly jeszcze starsze wersje oryginalne.
