Recorded Via S-VHS transfer.
I'm going to upload a single upload of this once my youtube copyright stuff gets taken down. I also re-recorded it so the colors aren't so WASHED OUT! - Krátké a kreslené filmy
This is one of the last truly great action blockbusters done practically, before everything went CGI. Which means in a lot of ways it'll never be surpassed.
I consider this one of the best action films ever made.
You're not the only one.
Perfect ending to a great action trilogy. There are no more worthy Die Hard films after this.
Except Live Free or Die Hard
uuuultra Not
Agreed
@@rap6439 4.0 is bad to the point that it went against what Die Hard is about. Let's also not pretend that it doesn't have more in common with A Good Day than with the first three films.
The last good Die Hard or even last good action movie.
My favorite Die Hard ever! Have great memories watching this movie with my dad when I was a kid. It is a roller coaster, unstoppable!
1:22 That's basically how Bruce Willis is playing himself for the last 15 or so years LOL.
Yup, the guy couldn't care less anymore
@@grahamjackmacpherson6501Since this comment was posted, its come out that Bruce Willis has been hiding seriously progressive dementia. So his behaviour is mostly his frustration not being able to work or remember lines. In his last few films, he had cue cards.
Nobody says "Hook, Line and Sinkahh" like Jeremy Irons does haha
Great he's great so kool
Amen to that
Still to this day I use a few of his quotes from this movie. Mostly “Holy Toledo”
McTiernan is a great director. Predator, The Hunt for Red October and Die Hard 1and 3.
Very talented person. Too bad what happened to him.
The Thomas Crowne Affair was his last perfect film.
The first time I watched this movie was with my grandfather back in the mid 90s when I was a little kid. Loved it. Haven’t seen it in over 25 years. Flashback city.
I was 12/13 when this movie came out; and with this and Speed, they were the best action films to grow up with.
The last REAL Die Hard film. Just an hardcore, old school action thriller from the mid 90s. Probably the last of it's kind which is a real shame. Nowadays most action films are all shaky cam and CGI. Where's the grit, the blood and the badass and likeable characters like John McClane?
I've been re-watching a lot of 1980s and 1990s action films and it's amazing how awesome the squibbing is, something we almost don't see anymore in any films. Everything now is just like you mentioned, shaky cam and CGI blood. And oh boy do I abhor CGI blood!
There’s no way they would rig up whole subway stations and central park like they did for this film anymore. Oddly films still cost a shit tonne without all of this though .
@@jamaicanbobsled7603 Yeah because most of the budget goes to the actors nowadays.
Predator score in the background!
I think it's because it's the same guy who directed Predator
... Deadass ...
@@007beck9 the director John McTiernan of Die Hard with a vengeance also directed the original Die Hard in 88 but he did the original Predator in 87.
Aliens soundtrack also at around 6:00
I hate it for anybody who didn't grow up in the 90s. This is how action movies are supposed to be! This is the last I repeat the last great action movie of our time. Now everything nowadays is cliche as hell the pretty girl the sexy man the evil bad guy and a lot of CGI graphics boring!!! I'm only 28 years old and I already miss the 90's
You are not the only one!!
What about "The Long Kiss Goodnight"?
@@florianlaur5300 It was good for what it is, but it sure as heck wasn't Die Hard With A Vengeance.
Mission impossible movies are pretty good but not nearly as good as die-hard movies ofc
@@jothishprabu8 Meh the tv show was better.
Such a great context. A legendary film from the such an iconic series. In my opinion, the second best from the series, with the first Die Hard in First, but this is extremely close too it. Legendary cast, characters, storyline, soundtracks, comedy, and really action-packed, a film worth watching, and will always be known as legendary. Bruce Willis as John McClane never fails, and add Samuel? Iconic. A honest great throwback of a film, sad that they don't make films like these anymore, it was truly ahead of it's time. As I like to say, for these clips man. Can''t stress this enough!
Perfect recommendation for the holidays
I miss the 90s!
Jeremy irons as Simon he’s really a good villain though
What a perspective & making of this masterpiece film. A film, that in my honest opinion comes very close to the first film in being the greatest with the first film being first. A legendary cast, storyline, soundtracks, comedy, lots of action, intensity and emotion. Humorous as well. So much to say about this film. Like its a never ending page of words. Bruce Willis as John McClane truly never fails, and adding Samuel really makes it even more dynamic & iconic with there duo/partnership, like who knew it would be perfect chemistry, literally a masterpiece, like who knew they would work so well together. Like I said earlier, sad that they don't make movies like these anymore, truly way ahead of its time, and a great throwback to the original & first film. 4.30.23 (A movie I got myself, for my birthday on the 19th of April alongside my twin brother @E.D). and a great throwback along the many years when we all saw it. Not only that, but even bringing it back to the first its one of the greatest action movies of all time. An iconic, legendary, standout, and amazing film awhich brings it back to the first & orignal film, but not quite the greatest, it falls second in comparison. Truly unforgettable, especially every scene throughout it, which was just so iconic, amazing and so much to say about these films. Like its a never ending page of words. Like if you're picking out a perfect action film to watch that will always make you on the edge of your seat filled with emotion and always focused this one of the best picks/films to watch, starting from the first all the way to the fifth. Just goes to show how advanced this movie was at its time, and how even today keeps up with being the greatest action film of all time, along with the first Die Hard. One word; a masterpiece throwback to the orignal & first film. Miss the times, when the effects were much more realistic & not just done digitally.
I love all the Die Hard Sequels and I love it when they brings scenes back from Die Hard 1
Holy fuck. I remember this doc being on the telly and my mind was blown, couldn't believe there was a new die hard. 14 year old me salutes whoever put this up.
2:14
Anthony Peck died one year later after the films release, also he was the young cop from Die Hard (1988).
i dont know what you guys think but this was the best movie even if is the third part
it was great but first was a classic
@@goranhrastovik5364 First was a classic, but the third film is just top to bottom entertaining thanks to how expansive and unpredictable it is. I also love how well New York is filmed here. I can't think of another movie that captures New York as if it's a realized playground of destruction.
This is one of my all time favorite movies. Along with Terminator 1 and 2
MCTEIRNAN! ... the imperative ingredient to the franchise. Simple
Everything that was missing from A Good Day to Die Hard, which was dire.
I love how at 11:12, Bruce is walking around with his mouth agape, to add action to the scene, even though nothing is happening around him.
It's because in the previous scene he got cut up by that wire, part of which was lodged in his arm/shoulder and he was in excruciating pain, breathing hard and completely in shock.
Thanks for uploading, ahh the golden era of 90's..
I Call for a revival of Die Hard with a Vengance!
+Julian Keippel Wont be as good though.
Die Hard IMO is probably one of the greatest action films I've ever watched. 2 of my favorite action movies were directed by John Mc. Predator being the other one...Oh and True Lies by James Cameron
All black female cast 👍
Predator music in the background, with Die hard video, epic eheheh
This came out when I was 9 I loved it and remember watching this making of when it aired on HBO
Badass movie
love McTiernan's Die Hard so much. I had been hoping his next DH coming so long.
"offers a new look of NYC as the setting for international terrorism" well...that didnt age well...
Awesome video uploader !!!!
I grew up watching these. DH 2 is my fav but I thought DH3 was awesome, they injected a comedy kind of thing into it. Bruce and Samuel are a great team :D
DH2 sucks
Christian 4_Realzz you crazy?!
imho, this movie should have been the only sequel made to the original, DH2 wasn't really necessary..
One of my favourite purely coincidental fictional characters 💗
Very cool, thanks for uploading :-)
better than 2
Interesting at the 6:37 mark in this video they changed the background some so the WTC towers aren't visibile. Ive seen other versions of this footage where you can see them easily. This clip at 1@37 has the same sequence and the towers are clearly visible
Die Hard with a Vengeance deleted scenes and outtakes - DVDvision #3 - Mars 2000 - Archives DVD #3
What the hell is with the OG Predator theme going on in the background? lol
Die Hard made in 1988 was the original and best film out the lot. None of the sequels even put a scratch let alone a dent on the original.
this one did
@@007beck9 no
So why are you here then? Lol
great video! tx :D
And "Aliens" music 5:48 :)
amazing
if you pause at 6:16 you can see the ladder the stunt man jumped off in die hard 2
AR .modelmakers wow great catch
I’m 10yrs late to the party (pal) but great catch is right- paused movie a million times, never spotted
Any one notice how when Simon says hook line and sinker and when mclane and Zeus are running the twin towers has been airbrushed out the screens that were in the original
Haha they use the predator soundtrack ahha
I was just thinking the same thing
Rodrigusificacionn because he directed predator, mctiernan is the 80s king of action films. fuck Spielbergs special effects
Aliens too
PREDATOR tunes in the back. Fits well also lol
He said don't shoot
Acting is really very difficult. When you are not injured but you have to show by your expressions how much injury you got.
Willis is all set to lose his natural hair at this point
Omg i love this mobie one of my faborite die hard they should've brung samuel back in the last one he was so damn funny😂😂😂😂
I love all vife off them!
I wish they'd release the original ending. Jeremy Irons is so charming, I always WANT him to get away! And he did in that ending and John got canned.
well actually he kills irons in that ending with a nice little game of spin the Chinese rocket launcher.
golden eras,actors,directors of HOLLYWOOD!
Predator music over a die hard making of...awsome!
An S-VHS uploaded to CZcams in 720p? I smells something fishy. :)
But what VHS tape had these special features? I think it's great!
***** Was this a promotional tape sent to networks?
The TRUE Sequel For Me :)
Jawohl, herr oberst!
I can dream this movie... some alternate takes in this, like 4:25, 5:20, 8:40
Knowing that Lawrence fishbourne turned down Die hard 3 and pulpit fiction? Made samuel L Jackson an even bigger star.
Obviously, the original Die Hard was the best but it is hard to tell which one was better out of the second one and this third one because the second one had more action but also many innocent deaths but that third one was boring but it had more careful action with less innocent deaths.
Third one was not boring. You're probably a fan of the 4th Die Hard in name only movie. Lots of action in that one with dumb plot and safer pg-13 Die Hard. Disgraceful.
Which channel was this shown on originally?
***** Strange how IMDb claims it's a CBS release yet that can't be right as there's no commercial break and there's an F-bomb slip, LOL.
Baby day out fire scene
Wait a minute! The BGM is predator theme!
BRUCE DIE HARD WILLIS FOREVER
Has anyone in New York city ever met the real John Mclane.
Out of the trilogy it's Diehard then DH3 and DH2.
Shareable?
OMG! I see Jeremy Irons smokes all the time.
here is the best clip on this film @
die hard 3 with predator theme music
predator theme was playing
Jeremy Irons good villain
Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson in pets on a plane
i agree that is probably a shame a action movie with CGI and a lot of action movies in the nillies it was'n the same action movie with stunts of practical and practical effects
I know the prop Master for this movie his name is Kevin he was my teacher at West LA College I can go and talk to him right now if I wanted to
Andrew Mathurin He still working on movies?
well
John Mctiernan's movie 🎩 🪄 🎬👏👏👏
Vittu tää CZcams on makee asia !
you walked on a glass floor, id figure throwing yourself at a cargo would be like jumping on a bed for someone like you.......by the way where were you in die hard 5...........I saw bruce....but sure as hell not you, were you on vacation, trying to get back with holly or some shit like that
Jesus
I can't believe we used to watch movies in such shitty quality.
