Recently i was diagnosed with PTSD and i..finally get what puppet meant by telling the little girl, that its Her fault.
Of course she never did anything wrong, But seeing someone being murdered, right in front of your eyes, and not being able to tell anyone, or stop them, Easily chould make that person who saw it and did nothing, feel like its their fault, when they really chould have not done anything, Especially a child. Her guilt on seeing someone innocent be murdered, is terrible, and not being able to stop it.
When someone dies, most people will think that they chould have stopped it somehow. Now imagine that thought, and then PTSD in the mix. She feels like these things are coming to haunt her, for seeing it, and not stopping it. She feels like this is all her fault, and thats what the puppet says to her. "It happened because of you" It happened, because you never stopped it.

This being the case, I want to wish you well. I've never had any personal experience with PTSD, but I know it CAN be overcome. Not always beaten (if ever), but it can be survived, managed, and lightened. Here's hoping you're already feeling a bit better since you commented!

Because it was such a high end school, it was almost impossible for any normal person to get in. Coming back to this, this game was undeniably the best Five Nights at Candy’s game. The other two were simply FNAF clones, but this one changed up the mechanics, and actually had an extremely interesting story.
That+ It makes the other 2 much more interesting lore wise
Just started this series for the first time, gotta say, seeing the animatronics not just standing still but ACTUALLY MOVING really adds to the creepiness.

@@Anti_Septikumnah it’s not a fnaf 4 clone, FNAF 3 is very different from fnaf 4. Really the only thing that’s the same is there are mini games and the gameplay ur a kid in your bedroom fighting off the animatronics.

Yeah sometimes i see nightmares of movie characters but the funny thing is that i dont know who they are until hours after the dream (ex: ghostface, didnt know who it was until i got random recommendations about that movie) and its just terrifying

Its nice to know I'm not alone with the nightmares. Being able to relate to someone I don't know, someone who has no reason to tell his audience about that makes me feel better about my own experiences.
I'm not sure why, but the scariest thing to me are eyes. Every single time something/someone is staring at me, I get chills up and down my body. It's especially bad if their face is completely stoic. I think it has to do with the unpredictable factor, sort of the same reason why masks/clowns make people uneasy, you can't tell their real emotions under the disguise. This game fucks me up a tab bit because of that, just as FNAF 3 did.
Anyway, when Mark was talking about the face of his nightmare dude being burned into his mind, that's all I could think of. The first time I had that happen to me was with Jeff the Killer. Yes, I know, he's not even that scary nor does his story scare me the least bit. HOWEVER, the first time I saw the photoshoped image of his face? Scared shitless. Everywhere I looked, I could feel eyes on me. Sometimes I can look into darkness and still see those eyes.
Corners are about as bad as eyes for me as well. I'm just waiting for the day when I look up at the doorway in front of me and see someone/something staring at me with half their face covered by the corner of the wall. *Sigh* it's 5 AM and I'm just fueling my own paranoia, joyful times.
L Ren People see eyes in lots of things due to evolution. Before, when mankind actually hunted and gathered, they would be prepared to fight or run when they saw eyes in bushes - meaning there might be a predator. So it's natural that eyes are something you're fearful of.
Well, that makes sense. I really wish that fear could kind of slowly fade away though. Not saying it's useless now, we still get attacked by stuff staring at us (a.k.a. my cats), but it's not needed nearly as much as it was previously. It just adds another thing on to my 'scared shitless' list.

Abraham Lozano last night I woke up at around 00:15 and I couldn't get to sleep no matter how hard I tried or what position I was in and i ended up just lying in the dark for 7 hours , and I got so tired I started seeing shadow figures and I couldn't tell whether I was dreaming . It was really weird.

Listening to Mark talk about his nightmares really made me realize how crazy vivid dreams can be.
when I was younger I used to have nightmares while I was still awake like I'd be lying in bed and I'd have a nightmare, most of them would be about being unable to escape, like, I'd be lying in bed and suddenly doorways would start appearing to be opening to reveal more doors and I'd start crying, another was about keys, there'd be these keys, I could see them, but I couldn't get them, another time it was where I had to carry these trucks, and they got bigger each time, and I started walking around the house like I was carrying them. I've had tons of nightmares where I'm awake when they happen, and I still have them every once in a while now

If mark had a who’ll podcast about him telling his life story/all the nightmares he remembers I would listen to them all the way through
Helpful tip Mark: when you're in the deepscape, you can find secrets that are away from the path. In the darkness, the rat will be lurking. While in the darkness, make sure that you don't sprint through it, because the rat will be alerted by the sounds of your footsteps.

My most vivid nightmare was when I saw this hideous looking man (It looked like the bald ghost monster from Scooby Doo but could stand straighter) chasing me. There was nothing around me, not even a floor just him chasing me and me sprinting as fast as possible. The scariest thing though,
was when I woke up he was in my doorway.
I was very young and scared out of my mind. He moved like a zombie. When he got to the bottom of my bed I jumped out of the covers and sprinted like my life depended on it out of my room and into my living room where my family was. My family looked very worried. I looked behind me only to realize it was just a hallucination from my mind going into terror overdrive.

I also have nightmares pretty consistently. First time I experienced sleep paralysis, I was having what seemed like a normal dream, my mom was waking up my brothers for school and I was waiting for her to knock on my door and when heard her walk to my door, I suddenly knew it was gonna be a little girl? And then when she opened my door a wave of fear washed over me and I legitimately couldn't turn over for the life of me until I was so scared I woke up.
It felt unbelievably real at the time and the not being able to move part is also terrifying.

So, fnaf 4 wasn't a "Nightmare" so, how do I explain this? Uh... so in the twisted ones, there is this device that makes a high pitched noise that "Scrambles" the brain. (I know the twisted ones isn't cannon, but, in the game universe the device IS cannon) and Ugh... I left something out. Notice how in FNAF SL The monitors in the private room change to fnaf 4? William Afton built these...Animatronics with devices inside of them. And, he uses the Fredbear nanny cam with the walkie talkies to see how the effects of the device worked. That's why the fnaf 4 rooms are called "Observation Rooms" William Afton Observes how the device works. I think all of these games may be connected to the thought that this is all just night terrors from one girl. 2 things are consistent in the games: the main character’s name is Mary (her name in FNaC 2 is “Marlyn” which I think can be shortened to Mary) AND the rat has been present in all 3 games, that could be a connection.
Also: did anyone notice the age of the character got younger each game?
Albino Deathclaw FNaC3 is a prequel (taking place in 1960s). Maybe the "Mary" here is the same as the one in FNaC1 (which takes place in 1987), but younger. FNaC2 is like 20 years after FNaC1, Marylin is a different Character.

Just finished playing Omori and it made me want to come back and watch this. It's been a few years but this is still one of my favourite playthroughs Mark has done.
My dad walked in on me and almost gave me a heart attack. It’s so astonishing from 2 fnac games that weren’t too terrifying and then this comes along and it feels like I’m actually there. The creators made such amazing fan games and thanks markiplier for playing!

My main nightmare that is common for me is where this pitch black figure that has large red eyes is chasing me around my house and sometimes in a long alleyway and each time the nightmare ends it always ends up catching and killing me

rewatching this in 2020:
when mark was talking about his nightmares and how he still has nightmares made me feel sad but also the same way? my nightmares are just horrible and are just situations that have happened to me personally or i lucidly nightmare about different things.
sometimes they vary of things that happened to me as a kid that my mom did to me or to watching pets die and then to watching loved ones and people i care about die.
sometimes my nightmares are nightmares i had as a kid (mainly of my mom) and my dad and sister can hear me literally screaming in my sleep, i have woken up with bruises on me as well.
it scares me honestly.
the fnac videos especially fnac 3 are such comforts to me lol, i keep rewatching them. i love listening to people talk and heairng about stuff like dreams is so fun to me. also the way mark describes stuff is just so cool. this guy's pretty awesomesauce
