Yeah, I want an amoled display smartphone. So, I was really excited about realme 9 series under 20k. I thought atleast this time they'll bring amoled, but they gave 144hz ips. Totally disappointed. For me 90hz amoled would be acceptable over 144hz IPS

People are so obsessed with AMOLED displays. Getting a SD 778 and 144hz screen for the price is an incredible deal. I honestly prefer LCD over AMOLED due to lack of PWM flickering.

Redmi and IQOO midrange phones has shifted to Amoled with downgraded chipset(Z6 also in SD 695). whereas Realme SE looks decent with a strong chipset. As a gaming enthusiast, I don't give a damn about Amoled which hurts eyes than IPS.

I don't understand why people are crying over the lack of AMOLED. The IPS display is fine. I'd say it's more than enough for regular use. Sure AMOLED displays are better but we're at that point where companies are starting to make more and more compromises. I brought the 9 se over the note 11 pro plus purely for the processor and it hasn't disappointed so far.

According to me, the Dimensity 810-powered Realme 9 5G is going to be more potent.

They took away Super Amoled display which is a Downgrade for me.
I've Realme 8 it's still cheapest phone with in display fingerprint sensor and was best device with overall specs. But now it's price increased.

It would be a best deal on realme 9 SE if they would have given amoled screen instead of 144hz. They can give amoled with 120hz. And also they need to give UFS3.1 and LPDDR5. and also Dual Stereo speakers and Realme UI 3.0 Android 12. Who else need that..

I’m disappointed by the video and the comments. I’ve just purchased the phone and I can’t be more happier about the camera the performance and the overall experience. The speakers are not the best in the segment for sure but otherwise the phone is as what was expected. Even on Amazon and Flipkart the overall rating is 4.5 which is really impressive. I would urge anyone who’s thinking of buying the phone to not get bogged down by the comments and the video itself and go ahead. Truly a phenomenal phone.
