I truly can't understand these so called fans who left the fandom because hello kitty and mainly because she " changed " her style. Cmon, how can you even compare Complicated to I don't know, let go? No way. She isn't 17 year old punk rock girl anymore. She is a woman. 30 years old. She cant go around and jump in vids like before. But if you don't like new music, go on listen to old one. Its *there, no one is stopping you from enjoying it* but just because u don't like her now doesn't give u right to bullshit.

From punk rock, pop rock, post - grunge, Avril is a genre skipping artist, remember that. Her music changed but everyone says like that is a bad thing. Many famous artists change their genre of music and they don't receive that much criticism. Hello Kitty song was a ONE-TIME POP SONG SHE MADE. That's all. ONE SONG. I personally don't like it and many people don't like it - but Avril based it on her love on Hello Kitty. Her music changed and society changed. It's impossible for us to like only one genre of music and not like any other genres. Her songs (apart from Hello Kitty) are beautiful and I love them and right now, we have these all pop music with hardly any meaning. Avril never changed and she is not 'weird.'
