I think Santa is bringing something extra to the table, Santa should have won this final. The other guys was solid. Santa was rigged again. Anyway doesn’t matter his talent and creativity doesn’t disappear. This guy has serious skill and musicality and limited to a specific genre.

I do see 4:52 where it looks like Cebo has a major idea that doesn't work. However comparing the two overall, Cebo appears to feel the music MUCH more comfortably than Santa. Santa's dance has larger and more exciting moments, but I'm not sure that makes it better than Cebo's. Cebo appears calm and powerful, amazing control and musicality. Obviously Santa is amazing dancer too. Santa 0:38 to 0:56 is very good flow. Then Cebo 2:03 to 2:27 I feel has very good flow as well (I can imagine some people might think this is "ordinary" "boring" dance? -- but then what music are you listening to??? what video are you watching??? IMO it has so much depth, glad I can watch it many times to appreciate it). Round 1 tie? Then in round 2 honestly there is mostly big exciting moves from Santa and not much flow I can see, like there's a new idea every 6 seconds and it's cool, but what ties them together? Whereas Cebo again has good flow from the start of the round 4:11 all the way til 4:35. Even with the probable mistake at 4:52, I think Cebo won round 2. I decided to leave a detailed comment because I saw there are many comments on this video like "Santa obviously won!!!" but it just seems like people who...like Santa...and don't know who Cebo is...acting like Santa fans. It's okay to have favorite dancers, but many people who commented "Santa!!!" it seemed they did not give Cebo enough respect to watch the dance and enjoy it, maybe they prefer to just think "oh that's ordinary house dance" - but I do not understand this kind of person. Both dancers are amazing and high level. My opinions are just mine. I think I can understand and respect the judge's decision too.
Also 1:41 you can see Santa missed Cebo offering handshake I'm sad LOL! I felt like Cebo definitely gave Santa a lot of attention and respect throughout the battle. That and other small things about Cebo's behaviour made me appreciate that Cebo's attitude seems very calm and powerful.
I think it’s a fair game. Cebo deserves the trophy. Santa was good with his techniques but missed the groove and flow of music.
Thank you for the detailed analysis I really appreciate it 😭 Santa is passionate with dance battle so I have been watching more battles recently and really curious about the reason why one win or lose but I dont have the knowledge to understand all the moves or the factors which leads to the result 😵💫 your comment really helped a lot
i think Cebo's first round is boring because his move is too heavy for the music not like Santa's which is lighter, and for the second round Santa's behave shows the samba style and Cebo made a mistake there. so the winner should be Santa.

You need to flow with tempo, and realize to the song. (It’s not like HipHop or Popping or Locking or anything else)

Lee Duran it's so sad people don't understand what musicality means. Like there's no competition between cebo and Santa. His footwork is so, clean, precise and tight.

@@Ell.06 It's also about taste as well. One generation likes to move one way and the next one likes to move in a different way. SANTA isn't constrained by house fundamentals. This is the evolution of dance I think :) I'm old school though so I still like seeing the fundamentals and the musicality with an old school flavor and CEBO does that in spades. That being said, I appreciate and very much like what SANTA is doing and try to look at the way he moves with an open mind.
@@morganwolf7622 I would agree if I see the battle through my old school lens, but SANTA is breaking new ground. Gotta appreciate the evolution of the style. I still pick CEBO though as it seems to me that he is expressing the music in a more unfiltered way. Great battle nonetheless.
