    The Islander sank in SE AK not in the Bering Sea. Finch located the ship a short time after it sank but given the depth and the times, he could just grapple up a few artifacts, with the aid of a diving bell. The pictures of Finch descending in the ice were off the beach of Nome in the winter of 1905-06, where they were diving for gold. Finch patented an improvement on the submarine phone. He didn't invent it. And a millionaire? As a relative I can only ask, "Where's the money, Henry?"
