You are the queen of the Taiwan swirls, I never see anyone do them as well as you
I love watching you mix the colors with the palette knife. It’s so pleasing to the eye.
Thank you! 😊
I like the flat stick for sure. Lovely soap!!
Thank you Terrie! The flat stick one is well loved for sure. I tried one next with a Popsicle stick which is about twice as wide. It really like the results of that too. I will post it soon! Have a great day! 💖✨
@@TreeMarieSoapworks I used to use these on facial waxing when I was a beauty therapist, might work out cheaper to ebay wax sticks :) they kind of look like coffee sticks. Hope that helps :)
@@dragonslife3917 Thank you!
Yay you cut it! 🧡 that's the best bit! Thank you for sharing your talent I love your voice it is so soothing and calming I come to you when i have anxiety :)
Your soaps are absolutely beautiful, a piece of art. You have inspired me to use color in my soaps.
Awesome Tree Marie Soapworks ! learning so much from your channel!
I just tried this technique! Thank you Terry for showing this!! I have learnt so much from you
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with other soapmakers, this is invaluable for beginners like me!)
Absolutely amazing
I will be trying this technique today...thanks so much for the video.
These videos are extremely relaxing and informative
Thank you!
Lovely soaps, lovely video’s, music, and your voice is so soothing. The flat stick! We always use a chop stick, but will definitely try a wider stick next time. Thank you for sharing,
Four Wings Soap
Thank you so much! I will be trying a tongue depressor next time. I am excited to see how that will come out. You're very welcome! 💖✨
I‘m so impressed with your soap making skills
Love the swirl with the wider stick vs the skewer. Beautiful
Thank you! The flat stick was by far the most popular! 💟
Thank you for sharing all this with us you are such an inspiration everything is calming about your video
So nice of you, thank you!
Compliments for your soaps and technics, you are super professional .... wonderful, thanks for sharing❣️💋
Beautiful!! I like the left side both are very pretty thank you for sharing your creation.
Thank you very much. The left side definitely won hands down! You are very welcome! 💖
loved this video its actually very relaxing to view. Cant wait for your next video
Aww...thanks so much! 😊💕
Great job Teri! Very nice tutorial. I like the flat stick swirls better. I’ll have to try this the next time I do a Taiwan swirl. Thanks for the video and the clear instructions!
Thank you Teresa! Yeah, the stick is definitely the winner. I made my next batch using a popsicle stick. I will cut it tomorrow. It looks good so far. I filmed it, so if it looks good, I'll turn that into a tutorial. You should try it. The Skinny Sticks are sold in the craft department at Walmart.
Wow!! You are amazing!❤❤❤❤
These are so awesome! Simplicity is great!
Thank you! I love simplicity too! 😊💖✨
Thank you for this video. I really appreciate your detail. I prefer the left side with more drag.
Thank you so much! 💝 The left side it the clear winner! 😊
I Love the left one. The design shows more and it's clearer. Greets from Germany. I love your videos
Yep, that one clearly one! Greetings from the States! 💖✨
Beautiful, thanks for your video
Absolutely gorgeous patterns!
Thank you so much! 😊
Interesting contrast. Well done
I love the flat stick swirl!
This looks gorgeous!!!!
Thank you so much Shelly!
That swirl is sheer perfection!
Aww...Thank you so much! 💝
This was so satisfying to watch
Thank you Kim! 😊
Stunning! Thank you for sharing this great video. Your soap packaging is wonderful too. Would love to see how you print on the boxes 😊
Thank you! The boxes are so much work, I had to buy a special printer to print that heavy cardstock. Maybe I can make a short video on to show the process. I think most people would think I am nuts to do it this way. 😁
Newbie here, and I just made a similar soap using this tutorial. I really like your channel
Beautiful... Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Arlene!
this is amazing! i love the divider, i was really curious when i clicked on the video how the design came out so cleanly
Thank you so much! Check back, I have another on with a divider that I am posting soon! 💖
I am new to making soaps. I loved your video and look forward to any others you share. I liked the bar on the left better. It had more detailed swirls. Thank you
Thank you, I hope to post more videos now that my kids are back in school. 💟
Love it!😍 Beautiful swirl!
Thank you! 😊💖
What an amazing Taiwan swirl ... I have never attempted. I like that you compared the two tools. Amazing video
Thank you so much. It was a neat comparison. After this batch I used a Popsicle stick, which is wider yet. I will cut it tomorrow, if it comes out good it will show up as a tutorial on here sooner or later. You should try it! 😊
@@TreeMarieSoapworks Looking forward too
@@TreeMarieSoapworks you should try chopstick
Hi Teri. I made this soap today, I followed the tutorial perfectly, you’re amazing. I also followed your tutorial for the dividers. I had LOTS of fun. Thank you sharing and for being so perfect.😊
Thank is great! I am so glad you are having success! I am definitely not perfect. Thank you for letting me know how it's going! 😊
Tree Marie Soapworks I had both- the skewer and the popsicle stick- I went for the popsicle stick 😊
I found your work clean and perfect congratulations

I like the left one much better. those color are perfect!
Just found your channel and I love it plus I’m new to soap making
Welcome! Good luck on your soap making journey!
A very specific tutorial for ghost swirls in a 2.5 lb mold. Thank you for the taiwan circling swirl tutorial.... will definitely need to find those sticks!
I will put that one on my like. I don't know if I will make it that size, but I can teach you how to change any recipe to that size. You just need to know the total amount of oils you normally use in that mold. The stick it definitely the winner. ✨
@@TreeMarieSoapworks Awesome! I do have a 10" Bramble Berry silicone mold. I just find for new things I've not tried before doing it in smaller test batches saves me on materials in case I mess it up lol. I can reduce the size in Soapmaker Pro 3 if needed. So glad I found your channel! I think I found those sticks at JoAnn's today and bought them. They look just like the one you used in your video.
I like the one with skewer!
Another beautiful soap and video. I’ll be honest, I’m never gonna make soap but I sure like watching other people do it! 😂
Thank you Kim. That's okay. 💖 You may decide you want to try it some day. I researched soap making 15 years before I made my first batch. I even got all the supplies but I was scared to try it. The time was't right for it in my life. When I took it back up, I immersed myself in it. I used to quilt for my artistic outlet. I dropped that so quick when I started making soap and never looked back. I love it! 😊💖✨
Kim Shea :I thought so too...a lady from church gave me my first hot process lesson and I still waited now I love it. I don’t do cold process yet I love hot process
Nice job
Stunning. I prefer the stick. 😊
Thank you Irene! I think it is unanimous! 💖
Beautiful video. So clean and neat...I would love to see the soap Calc. video and packing too. Keep up the good work
Thank you so much! I have the soapcalc tutorial on my list. I may eventually show how I make my boxes, but they are so time consuming, that I don't know how helpful a video like that would be. Maybe I'll just show for FYI purposes... Thank you so much for your feedback! 💖Have a great day! 🌸💕
Not are you fantastic at what you do; you have a personable, comfortable nonchalant demeanor that watching n listening is like sitting with your best friend while she draws your portrait over a cup of tea n crumpets!! incredible instruction and visuals; Im just getting started in this...
Thank you so much, Lauren! So kind of you! ☕💕
Hi Terry, I’m new to soapmaking as well and I love love love your videos and I am also intimidated by this so calculator, so yes I too would like to learn more how to use it correctly❤
Have you seen you video on soapcalc?

Thanks for tip on cutting
You're welcome 😊
Beautiful
Thank you!
You are an angel what a voice
Love your tutorials. And this is another beautiful soap. I also love the box. It is ok to ask what package company you use? And flat stick for sure!
Loved your video! Thanks for sharing this great technique. You made it look super easy! What Lard do you recommend?
I struggle with choosing colors and would not have chosen this combination, however; the colors are beautiful together! I hope I can become more confident in choosing different color combos! Or at the least make small test batches. Also, I love that you make little color samples! That would be a great way for me to choose combos as well. Even though this video was posted a long time ago I’ll still choose.. I like the design on the left best. Thank you again for sharing.
The little color swatches do help a lot. I have some color combinations save on Pinterest if that would help. www.pinterest.com/teriendsley/color-combo-ideas/
Yes! Reaching emulsion! That's the proper use of words. Most use emulsification instead, which has a different meaning.
how beautiful!!! 😍
Thank you! 💝
Very pretty
I try this tecnique today! And loved the result. Not the same obvious but some alike ❤
I wish i could send you a picture of how it looks, also i made it on hot process 😊
I'm so glad! You can join my group and post it there. 💛 facebook.com/groups/treemariesoapworks/
Thanks very much showing the technique, really enjoyed watching it. Will you show projects using hanger swirl?
Yes, I do plan on doing hanger swirls at some point. 😊
I really enjoyed this video🙂.
Thank you so much! 😊💖✨
Tree Marie Soapworks Ur welcome!🌺💕
Simply gorgeous Taiwan swirl and that flat stick rocks! It really does make a difference! You are very good at teaching. The only thing I'd like to know more about is ratio's of water to lye, doing water discounts and using other liquids as part of the recipe bit added at a later time. I appreciate your asking us! Have a lovely weekend and hope to see ya join our next soap collaboration! Hugz, Tree
Thank you! The flat stick is definitely the most popular. 💖
I will add your requests to my lists. I do "discount" my water. I usually use 25% "Water as percent of oil weight" in soapcalc, which is usually around 1.8:1 water to lye. Do you use soapcalc?
For adding other liquids, you can use a 1:1 water to lye ratio to dissolve your lye and add the rest of your liquids weight to your oil mixture. Hope this makes sense. Here is a link to some very helpful science articles. I learned lots from Kenna's science articles. www.modernsoapmaking.com/category/soap-science/
If you are adding liquids with sugars in them, this can cause your batch to heat up. Be careful about that. Keep and eye on it and soap at cooler temps.
@@TreeMarieSoapworks Awesome! I appreciate the info! It helped me understand it much better! Thanks!
Love this one girl. They both are pretty awesome looking.
This is one of my favorite techniques. Thanks so much! 💕✨
Thank you very much. Do you take your olive oil for mixing with colours from your batch olive oil? Thank you
I like them both
Thank you, Lori! 😊
Amazing!! My eyes were glued and couldn't stop staring
Thank you so much! 😊
@@TreeMarieSoapworksYou're welcome.. Keep it up Teri, i'm rooting for you!! :)

@@TreeMarieSoapworks Cute name! I go by Dave, short for David!
@@dave6733 Thank you Dave! 😊
Thanks for this informative video, i was wondering if it is possible to use vegetable oil and dehydrate orange in this recipe
Beautiful. I like the flat stick better. I am new to soap making and would like to see a tutorial on using soap calc. IO have only used other people's recipes so far.
Thank you Olive! The flat stick seems to be the winner. I will plan on doing a tutorial on soapcalc. It is always a good idea to even put other people's recipes into soapcalc. Stay tuned! 💖✨💕
Hi, Im loveling your videos and will be very important to our beginer soaphandmake cia. Im from Brazil and following your channel. I have a doub, could you please describe the process before you unmold? Do you use oven, or cover only for 48 hours.
Tks a lot
Hermoso!!! 👍👏👏
Thank you! 💖
Beautiful colors. Loved to see your technique. Thanks from a new soap maker🙂 Also would love to learn about soap calc.
Thank you Kimberly! Great to hear! I am planning on the soap calc tutorial. Welcome! 💖
@@TreeMarieSoapworks yes! thank you! i've always been so confused by soap calculations and its been my biggest mental hurdle in the process
im planning to get soap supplies this summer and use a recipe but i know its important to understand how the ingredients and ratios will impact the soap
Keep learning! Ask questions. I hope to make the soap calc video soon. 🌸💕
Love the left one. :)
Thank you! It was a 97% favorite! 😊
Left...like👍👍👍
Thank you!
Hi Marie, I truly love your channel. I learn so much from watching you create different designs. I do have a question, do you have a soap box supplier that you can recommend?
Thank you so much Lashawn! I haven't really experimented with suppliers' boxes. I make my own with my printer and die cutter. It's quite a process. I dread it, but once they are done, I am back to loving them again. 😊
I would love to see a tutorial on how to use soapcalc! Thank you
