Thank you so much for recording this in it's entirety in a manner that preserves the mystery and mystique of the games. I mean, I love a good commentary, but a lot of the anticipation and thrill of these games comes from the brilliantly established atmosphere and eerie music, which is unfortunately broken when a person speaks throughout the gameplay. Excellent work. :D
i kinda wish that there was a non-vr version of this game. i love the series and played through all of the others, but when i found out that the last one was a vr only game... i was sad because i don't have money for a vr set... ;-; thank you for uploading this, since i'll never get to enjoy it personally... ;-;

This was my first "The Room"-game. The story was ok ... though I was mainly in it for the puzzles :) I absolutely love esxape rooms, this game was all I hoped for ...
@@finisronin the story would make a little more sense if you played the first ones also the ending has a major impact when you know the full story but glad you enjoyed it
I hate the snapping from one place to another. They should have retained the old-fashioned zooming without motion blur. Anything but the snapping, it gave me motion sickness halfway through the video.
The worst part about this game is the snap/teleport movement...... They really dropped the ball with that approach. What makes Red Matter and Myst so much harder than The Room is the fact that they dont come out and tell you where the puzzles are located. You have to roam around the areas and examine all possibilities. You can enter an area in The Room that is full of a shit ton of items but if you can only snap locate to 2 points, then they are basically just holding your hand and guiding you to the puzzle.

I beat all 4 of the regular games...gotta' try the VR version. I love these installments. This puzzle-filled games are amazing!
