Th400 with th350 27 spline to np205 transfer case

I have looked and looked for information on how to convert a th400 with a custom output shaft that has the 27 spline of th350 that connects to the 27 spline input of a np205. I hope this information can help someone.

Bought a truck with a th400 and it came with a np205. I have not taken it apart but it should be 32 spline male out of the trans and 32 spline female input on the np205.

I have a th400 with 27 spline output shaft that came from a camper and I have a 27 spline np203 that came from behind a 350. I have the old cast iron adapter but I haven't started trying to fit everything together yet, I have been thinking of waiting to get a 4l80e and add a doubler. I haven't started working on my project yet though

Why not just change your TC input shaft? That would be the best,and strongest way to do it

How far did the 27 spline output protrude out past the mounting surface of the transmission

Same as factory 32 spline.

They run about 220 I got really lucky an got a 205 an adapter the other day for 240
