I plan to take the train to Bergen, and the Hurtigruten to Ålesund, one of my ancestral home towns. As for Oslo, it has quite a few secret sites you should visit next. Like hidden rows of small wooden houses with small gardens, right in the middle of town. There are also places and buildings dating centuries back, that most people don't know or think about. Some of the historic buildings are well hidden in the east end, where there once was a viking settlement. If you like to explore the fjords, you should also visit the small towns in the Oslofjord. Like Drøbak*, Son, Hvitsten, and Fredrikstad*.(On the eastern side). And Holmsbu, on the west side. (* are fortress towns.) At times like these I find It is important to stay level headed, and make plans for the future. Stay well and safe ! ✌😊

Stockholm is just too pretentious and preppy for my personal tastes. In Copenhagen, things are a bit ... both freer, and sometimes "wilder." Very cool and more sophisticated culture in Copenhagen. Oslo is sort of something inbetween the two (as is Norway, culturally, between Denmark and Sweden), but with the most awesome nature, air and water.
Nice video. Correction: The video where it says Aker Brygge is from Tjuvholmen. Some tips: If you want to avoid all tourists and see more of the authentic Oslo, go to Grunerløkka. Also, take the ferry to one of the beautiful islands in the Oslo fjord. I can recommend Lindøya or Gressholmen. For total recreation, visit the forrest that surrounds Oslo. A nice starting point is to take the subway to either Frognerseteren or Sognsvann.

Grünerløkka however used to be a poor neighborhood, but is now a popular area especially among hipsters. It is an interesting area worth checking out, but you will find lots of tourists even there. It's not the safest area though - especially at night. I support his other suggestions in order to experience the greater Oslo. The geographical center of Oslo is actually in the middle of the forest. This is what makes Oslo special - you have the big city life, the forest and the fjord within close range.
