I can't believe some people are disappointed with this. This is such a passionate, fiery tune, and the imagery is beautiful.
She is just off center enough to be fascinating. This video is compelling in a cryptic and slightly dark way. I love it when my senses get to experience something entirely fresh. This is just plain gorgeous work.

But i love This new album and I think its very powerful and her feelings about many things are in this album. Listen or read her interviews she tells you her feelings and how those shaped Hunter. I can't pick a favourite as its all brilliant and I usually have a few favourites on a album but I find its really hard for me t pick one. I love Hunter !!!!

Ive always admired calvis musical talent - her earlier work was classy and felt like a nod to great artists like patti Smith etc
I think her new direction however is too faux modern - collaborating with this director has made her image super hipster - a nowness/dazed template has been placed on her videos - sucking out the originality she has - music is still cool, gone a bit poppy but it still delivers
I think she ought to find a less hipster, pretentious filmmaker for her next videos and bring back the elegance and class her work deserves

@@nelohagen true - I think management/pr firm would have selected the filmmaker based on his connection with hipster magazine like nowness and dazed and fashion brands - so that it attracts a certain demographic - particularly LGBT hipsters - as the themes in her music lend itself to this - it's all about market forces and selling this as a product - this for me diminishes some of it's artistic value as it feels too engineered & self conscious - it just looks like someone trying to make something hip and cool and fashionable - art is about purity - faux art like this video for me is the polar opposite - thats how I see it any way

Exactly @nelohagen - i dont question her musical integrity, this is evident - its gonna be full of heart when its her making the music on her own.... shes a talented, artistic soul - im saying the output, once its been marketed and videos like this are made - her image transforms... ? I could cry my heart out and make a painting, but if i allowed it to be presented at facebook events with wanky people - because it will sell more, perhaps my original art work is ruined and lost.. ive worked with many great musical artists and the ones I respect the most dont give a damn about appearing cool or presenting it on the coolest hottest channels - cos if its any good, the work will live on - fads dont....
