What if those taxes were in control of the people, and paying them went to universal healthcare, making anyone receiving it having to pay thousands less for life saving procedures. That's how a lot of other countries do it. Here taxes have been blown out of proportion and people lost trust a long time ago.

Electricity today is primarily made from coal. Electric bills are already going way up. Wind and solar are only 6%. Restricting coal with no alternatives yet is going to be a huge disaster.
It is not coal that provide our primary energy anymore, but we definitely need to diversify our energy investment portfolio so we don't end up with just one source. You are making the point to pass this bill. And what is even better about it, is it will get us off of China's teat for solar production. We can do this. We just need to stop looking backward and look forward. I have solar on my house. It works, it is cheaper and we don't have to send people into the ground like moles or blast into the ground for it. Better yet, we don't have to pay those mofos in Saudi Arabia for their dirty juice. Jobs above ground will be created. The deficit will be paid down after Orange whoremonger added 45 billion to it, and we will be able to rely less on the villains.

No, millionaires aren't intimated by the IRS and can easily afford professionals to represent them. Small businesses and middle class individuals often fear it will cost too much to be represented by an attorney or CPA and the IRS uses that as leverage against them.

The IRS has had their budget cut for several years, so they do need an increase to have more people to process returns and get taxpayers paid their refunds and such mire quickly. However, the increase is much more than they ne3d to do that. The audits shouldn't be the factor for the increase. About 10% of that increase would be enough for what is really needed.

I had no problem getting my tax refund these last few years. Is there really a reason to give them more money?
We don't need the IRS in its entirety. A flat tax would cut out the fat and be fair for everyone. There could be a minimum earning of no taxes below a certain amount that protect the low salaried.
We might as well tell it like it is. The all talk and no action never ends with these failures!! They did the exact same thing a decade ago, through the entire Benghazi disaster.

We’re definitely on the same page, but I think capitalism in general is built solely for the success of the already successful and the extremely lucky.

No where around the world is any government set up to truly elevate the struggling masses. And you are right: 5- 6 corporations oen 90% of everything around the world.
