Pastor Raymond Koh was forcibly abducted on February 13th, 2017 in a military-style operation that took less than 40 seconds. Almost seven years later, he’s still missing. His car has never been located.
Raymond’s wife, Susanna, has filed a lawsuit to force the Malaysian government and leaders of the police to release all information about what happened, and hopefully hold the kidnappers accountable for their actions.
Listen this week to an interview with Susanna recorded two years after Raymond’s abduction. Hear how she found out her husband was missing, and how the police turned her missing person report into an opportunity to interrogate her about the Christian work and gospel outreach she and Raymond were involved in.
Raymond had been threatened before for his faith and gospel work, yet he continued to follow God’s plan for him. Susanna says in the months before the abduction she saw a deepening of Pastor Raymond’s spiritual walk. He memorized large sections of God’s Word, went on long prayer walks and preached the gospel with renewed passion and intensity.
Susanna is very honest as she shares raw emotion, grief and pain. But she also says God’s promises have uplifted her-as have Christian songs. She and her family have even been able to forgive those who kidnapped her husband.
Pray for Susanna and the Koh family as they await the next hearing date in her lawsuit. Pray for wisdom for the judge, and that the truth of who was behind Raymond’s abduction is revealed.
Susanna was one of four courageous women of the persecuted church who shared their stories as part of the Hearts of Fire Virtual Event from The Voice of the Martyrs. You can register and watch the event online.

Thanks for this upload. As an ex-Malaysian (left 30 yrs ago) I am finding this abduction case horrendous at this modern age and time. The Malaysian Police force is truly corrupted!! . It would be interesting to know the outcome. Praying for Susanna and her children, May God keep her strong in health and mind.

This is the thing.. As America has its Constitution the same goes for Malaysia.. Whilst the two Constitutions differ greatly from one another given the different history and background of both establishment of the Constitutions.. Where as the American Constitution had the separation of church and state as its cores the Malaysian Constitution had Islam as the federal religion as it cores.. As Constitutions are often, but by no means always, protected by a legal body whose job it is to interpret those constitutions and, where applicable, declare void executive and legislative acts which infringe the constitution.. So if you are living in Malaysia as a Malaysian Citizen but you uphold the American Constitution instead of the Malaysian Constitution you cannot cry foul play when the Government is protecting and upholding its Constitution.. This is not just breaking some common law this is going against the core principal of the Constitution of the Country wich if proven guilty means you've committed treason and last time time I check committing treason is punishable by death in America.. There are religious freedom in Malaysia except when it comes to Islam as it is the federal religion as stated in the constitution.. You may or may not agree with it but a Constitution it is nonetheless.. When schools shootings are happening across the U.S and talks about banning guns took place but since the right to bear arms is in your constitution there are no banning of guns that happen.. When America start banning guns than you can come and lecture us about the Constitution..

I knew Uncle Raymond when I was a kid. Mrs. Koh and Uncle Raymond had always invited us to Christmas parties every single time, to all the neighbors around my area, regardless of race or religion, I missed that moment quite a lot, remembering Uncle Raymond singing Christmas songs and playing some simple guitar chords. We had roasted turkey. A lot of nice food. From my childhood memory, Uncle Raymond was a very quiet man but on the inside, he loved kids very much. When I was 4 or 5, Uncle Raymond performed some magic tricks in front of kids, they were so happy and surprised, but I was the curious one who busted his magic trick, it was the 1 Ringgit note that I tried to take :D He didn't chastise me at all but said "Don't." :D hehe. He seldom came to kindergarten to visit us. Maybe he was busy most of the time. Besides, I remembered him as a good neighbor since very young. He was a humble man, soft-spoken, and legit patient. Uncle Raymond was so innocent. The last moment that I saw him was before the Koh family moved out of our neighborhood. I can't remember when but I was about 14 years old. The reminiscence is quite vivid. He was sitting inside his sedan, reading a newspaper inside the car for a long time, probably an hour, I wasn't sure what he was waiting for, so I waved my hand a little and greeted him from a distance, and he saw me and responded by raising his hand a little as a sign of greeting me back. I never imagined that was the final moment I saw him. I'm sure all the old neighbors who knew him more than me, missed him more.
This made sense to me how dark and corrupted this nation is, and the best thing that we can do is to follow Christ, for Christ is our brightest light.

There is always a purpose for everything. Jesus said "unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain." It could be that the pastor's abduction or death could win more people to Christ and is the beginning of revival or salvation among the Muslims. Trust God. I can't fathom the suffering or torture the poor pastor has undergone but I am sure God is with him throughout his ordeal. I recall a story of a Christian missionary couple and their baby being buried alive by two men who hated Jesus in a third world country and one of the them became a Christian and preached the gospel to the villages because he was overwhelmed by the couple's heartfelt shouts of "Jesus loves you" while the couple were being buried alive by the two men. The death of the couple and the baby saved a murderer who in turn brought many souls in the villages to Christ.
    John 12:24
    New King James Version
24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

The leaders esp the heads of the governments since the abduction were/are in a position to know what exactly happened if only they had the political will to find out and bring closure but none wanted or want to do that, for their own reasons. They have access to the files and they can pinpoint every person involved in the case if they really want to. Really sad this is happening meanwhile the family of Raymond Koh (and the families of the other abductees) are suffering not knowing what's happened to their loved ones and their whereabouts.

Workers of iniquity will have to answer to the REAL God if they do not repent while they have the chance. There, they will not escape judgement no matter how crafty they think they are.
However, God is not desiring that anyone should perish and their opportunity to repent still stands. It's our job to forgive every wickedness that they can produce so that God will listen to our plea for justice.
God will work in miraculous ways that are profound yet subtle. His works are powerful yet he speaks in a still small voice. What a perfect saviour we have, merciful and slow to anger. Let us follow in His footsteps and pray for our enemies. Shalom.

@@franktoh3041 Hi, the bible has mentioned that people will be saying that Jesus is not coming again. @ 2 Peter 3:
3 knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. 4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. 7 But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
I pray that you will come to know Jesus personally, repent and turn to Him.

    I'm a Malaysian Christian here.
i can see God really sent me to weird places many times so awkward even Muslim had forgotten the past history , sames goes to the non-muslim too ,day by day getting away from God and be lost sheep, i fall in between.....be like what ???...
When i was a young child until now i stayed with a huge group of Muslim friends. Really a sheep in a group of wolves or sometimes i called myself a puppy with human family not dog family a adopted puppy, is hard to be good loyal dog, in my life i didn't see real sheep so i think closest domestic animal that loyal to master's voice is dog,
and i am not afraid to tell my faith with Christ, as long as i walk the talk and be Christ-like, that's what make Muslim will respect you, that's what they want from us. Exactly like what God had told, we shouldn't feel ashamed with God's word and work when we do the right thing.
Until today, my colleague respected me, majority Muslim and they very loved me, they also titled me (you are more Islam than we are, and i felt such ashamed and apologised of our attitude). Even my boss also saluted me, my boss is one of the Priest's son, he had so many curiosity and questions of thirst and hunger, so i educated him like we educate with Love of Christ way, rather i see many non-muslim using hate speech and hate on Islam and very attacked on Muslim soul, my friends all thanked on me given opportunity of view the opposite kingdom or the unseen world or the dark secrets or the hard to believe facts or the spiritual awareness or the spiritual awakening feeds.
I try my best to sew back the big hole of pain soul. So i try my best to fit in and be like the sibling in the house type of spirit of peace.
i try to study Quran in house and a few curious question from them, without convert to Islam physically (God allowed this to me) but a spiritually dealing type of Islam to help them. I want to do like what Jesus do "bring the taste of Heaven to Earth , hit it one more time , the real paradise God planned to human and kicked out satan."
You know what ... i learned so many things while alived as a Malaysian Christian, is hard / is tough / is pain / is spiritual abused / very worthy it to sacrifice.
But the core between Islam and Christian (is just 'agama pendatang' means 'a foreigner religion. Islam was spread by Chinese, India and Middle Eastern back then. Christian is spread by British and Middle Eastern too). So nothing to fight here is very history based evidence 100% most of our original religion is Buddha/Old folk/Animism.
i hope this tips can help to other Non- Muslim Malaysian.
God created the world with verbal (word of God), so we had to be patiently verbal chat to stop the thirst and bread for the hunger.
We had to stand on their shoe and felt what they need and want, rather than focus on overseas. We had to know their level , standard and class, background story.
We had to brought the history as a proof and make it alived again.
Sew back the hole, the spirit of Malaysian and will lead to Christ.
Thank God Malaysia politic is unstable but we had a very loyal heart to God. We are a very Godly nation, that's what Malaysian so peace no fight or war.
Personaly i met Christian Malay too, but they had secret life group to read Bible and know who is Jesus position as for God's eyes in respect. But they unable to convert physically but through spiritually dealing, is nice to had this type of Half Islam/Half Christian friends, is the most special God had created them with super power of best of both world to meet, is like eclipse once in a blue moon, such rare.
Still anything we feel depression during secret chat in-between Muslim and Non-Muslim "Ha... politic lah, Malaysian no problem with this" 😂😂😂
