Marc Davis Artwork from Western River Expedition

This is a slideshow showcasing Marc Davis' concept art and sketches for the unrealized Western River Expedition attraction. Intended to be built at the Magic Kingdom in Florida before becoming their Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Some of these concepts eventually made their way into other Disney attractions like Epcot's World of Motion and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

@@ZeppoRunRanch Oustanding recording! I actually heard the full theme song and (I think) other voices and sounds from a prepared WRE soundtrack online about two years ago. But now I can't find it. I know it exists because that's one of the things that got me so interested in the project. It's interesting to know it got as far as the recording stage. Thanks for sharing the Marc Davis artwork for this amazing attraction, great stuff!
