Its a beautiful, unique and soothing sound for me. we get them every year in El Salvador. As a child I loved playing with them and looked forward to them every year 🥰

Decades since the 13 year brood and 17 tear brood emerged together. Only happens every 221 years
Here in crappie CA we get cicada every year. Really annoying bugs
